REVIEW: SLEEK BLUSHES BY 3 & ROSEGOLD

apart from lipstick, i also got this blush palette, this will be the very first blush palette i have ever own :P not a big fan of palette items apart from eyeshadow but anyway, moving on..

here is the packaging, i love how simple it is, well close to simple but not really simple but i love they only use 3 colors haha ok i dont even know why i started talking about the packaging design ahaha

oh and i got this from a friend of mine so it is free ..

i am a sucker for anything matte and shiny combination... just like this one, simple, classy and elegant!

okay so the colors, rather bright for my skintone *well i know this is the risk of seeing through the website* but i will work on it :) trust me i wont let this goes to waste haha

so far, i do like the colors, they are in a red-pink tone and i think that works well on my skin tone. the scent, is slightly plastic-y but it is alright because you really cant smell it :P unless you put your nose close to it

the swatches, the colors are very bright hahah and pigmented but the thing with pigmented color in make up is, you get to use less and save the items more :P a good way of saving money i think!

i love the left & middle color but the far on the right (left on the palette) isnt really my choice but i shall see maybe i can work my magic around it haha

so will i repurchase?

yeap and probably buy a few more of other color if Sleek ever come in Indonesia

good side?

pigmentation of course and the longevity of the items onto my oily cheek

well i thought of the colors at first but then again, i dont think there is any down side :D

REVIEW: MAYBELLINE CLEAR SMOOTH AQUA GEL-FOUNDATION

I have been wanting to try this product but, for some reason, i was unsure, so i kept debating myself for i dont know how long until one day i decided just to get it!

Bonjour Love!

I actually own two of this foundation and dont worry, they are in a different shade :) but the one i am trying is in the shade natural :)

so the packaging:

- somehow rather.. teenage-ish, well i am assuming the product is aiming for that teen target audience :)

- strong and durable plastic material

- you have to twist the silver cap to open it

- it is easy to squeeze and control the amount of foundation you want to use

- the tube has a tiny round/hole for the liquid foundation to come out which i love because not only i can control but also very hygienic.

I seriously forgot about the price.... :( 

here is the color swatch for "natural" shade.

The texture is somehow creamy and somehow liquid-y well hence the name "gel foundation", it blends in well into your skin, lightweight on the skin, no scent i can smell off, it dries off very fast which is a good thing :)

now the experiment:

i just reached home :D

it has.. been almost 4 hours and a little bit more, my skin just getting oily :D

conclusion:

- love this foundation because it is lightweight, absorb quickly into the skin, dries fast, it isnt super creamy that can make my face super oily within 1-2 hours, as for oil control, a good four hours is super enough for me :) so for my skin i will say this has a medium oil control :) but the downside is, because it is lightweight, it has a poor-medium coverage on my acne :( and of course not im not fond of the jar.

REVIEW: DR JART+ BLEMISH BASE BLACK LABEL

i am ... currently on my holiday, yes i am a freelancer so time is pretty flexible :) and i decides to update my blog with new posts! yayyy* but i will be working and designing for you all during public holiday :)

anyway, lets start!

here i will be reviewing about:

DR. JART+ BLEMISH BALM

and yes this isnt the real tube because i got this when i was a subscriber to a beauty box :)

well since this isn the real packaging and i never seen one in real life but i did a research on the true packaging and it is.. almost the same, just the sample is smaller *of course* and the cap is rounder while the real one is ...

but here is the sample packaging and i think the picture itself speaks of its own :)

the packaging still carries the same cover of the real packaging, same color and similar in the jar shape.

As for the sample itself, it is easy for me to use, i just have to squeeze it hehe and due to its small shape, it is easier for me to carry it for travelling!

here is the swatch, the color i believe has a tiny slightly grey undertone. It is lightweight and creamy. You only need a pea size for your whole face. The coverage is high because it covered my huge pimple! As for the scent, i cant really recall any horrible scent so scent-wise still bear-able :)

i put it on my face at 11 am , was getting ready to go out to see a friend :)

here it is at 3.40pm...skin still looked dewy

4.30pm, at the salon waiting for my friend :) starting to get oily on the nose

6.15pm.. HOME! 

anyone needs some oil? ahhaha

so lets see!

conclusion:

- i love the packaging/jar/design

- easy for me to squeeze (sample size it is)

- lightweight

- high coverage

-strength of oil control last for about 4 hours which was.. alright for me

regarding the price... i cant mention it because i really dont know the price since i got this for free!

will i repurchase?

no because im looking for products that has a good oil control strength for at least 6 hours but this is my skin we are talking about haha it is slightly "unique" so if you have a normal skin or.. a normal oil level skin, feel free to try this out! because i know deep down this is a good product.

REVIEW: MAX FACTOR LASTING PERFORMANCE LIQUID FOUNDATION

Hi!

I personally think a liquid foundation is a must when applying makeup so today,

i will do a review of one of the foundation i own :) I do like trying out new foundation hehe

and no.. i dont wear makeup every single day :P 

so lets start

The packaging can be improved somehow, i hate the star in the middle, i hate the combination of transparent jar with black color, i dont know why.

The jar is made from a plastic material but of course it is strong :)

The black cap needs to be twisted to open.

oh and here it the price!

i am so proud of myself to be able to write the price without feeling guilty,

it is RP 80.000 in Glow

Here is the tip of the tube, i love these kind of tip because i can control the amount of the foundation

and, it is hygienic :)

here is the swatch, it feels creamy and somehow thick but not super thick :P 

easy to blend and it dries quick :D

it is lightweight and has a medium-high coverage depends on the look of the acne/scars :)

the scent, is actually isnt that obvious unless you sniff it close up.

lets see how this last on my skin :)

11 am, getting ready to go out.

12.30 still at home because i had to eat lunch at home.

my skin looks dewy to oily. 

So oil control isnt that strong.

15.30pm in the fitting room :P

at this hour, you can see how oily my skin is, and i had to blot my face.

this looks like after a long 6-8 hours face with other liquid foundation but not this one :(

17.30pm, the infamous background, the toilet :P

again, oily, had to blot my face, again :P

conclusion:

- poor oil control

- creamy texture

- dries quick

- no scent

- medium-high coverage

will i repurchase?

- nope :( 

REVIEW: ZA TOTAL HYDRATION BB CREAM UV

Gorgeous You! how are you dear?

I have heard about this brand long way back when i was in high school, and i am going to be honest with you that i have no idea where this brand comes from :P so in short words: never been bothered to consider them until today! i recently found out that it is from Japan and their skincare is quite amazing!

But as you all know i am very particular when it comes to skincare so i will do a depth research on them before i purchase the whole thing :) so.. today out of curiosity i purchase the new bb cream!

The price was RP 98.000 but i got it for 20% off, talk about bargain :D

The packaging is adorable because it is in pink! but it is tiny :P like its height is around 10cm top-bottom, the tube is very easy to open and it has a tiny hole that give a tiny amount of bb cream out which is perfect for me since i am a very careless person and tend to squeeze alot of bb cream which in the end goes to waste :P 

so packaging wise, it is alright :) handy and practical!

Here is the swatch of the color, it has a skin tone color with warm undertone slightly mix with pink and i think it suits well for my skin, it doesnt make my skin look whiter or darker. It has a soft scent which i love, a creamy texture but when you apply it, it dries fast so we gotta be pretty quick in applying it :) but it feels powdery and soft after that :)

The texture feels lightweight on the skin, literally i feel nothing! not cakey :D like my skin can breathe!

So lets see the information on this bb cream :)

It has:

- SPF 43 & PA +++

- Works as base makeup, to cover pores & dark spots, brighten & balance out the skin tone also to create a skin color.

- Sebum holding powder (oil control)

- Vit B (keep skin fresh)

-Amino Mineral Complex ( moisturizing and cover pores )

- Prism Enhancer (makes skin glow)

here is me wearing it at 4.30pm

i love the texture that is lightweight and powdery onto the skin and i do love the scent

but as for the coverage that said to be covering the spots or pores, i dont think it does as you can see from my picture, my pores are still visible & everything else are visible.

I do look like i barely put any foundation on but trust me, this is done with 2 layers of bb cream :P

dewy with a slight oil appearance a.k.a my skin just started to get oily :D

conclusion:

- i strongly disagree to the point where it said this products covered pores & spots because it certainly doesnt do its job on my skin.

- i dont like the price :P

- i do love the lightweight feeling on my skin and the powdery texture after i apply it on my face.

- i love the oil control because it makes my skin dewy for almost a good 5 hours :)

- it does prove their function apart from one which is still good

- i love the packaging

-  i love the scent

will i repurchase?

- sadly nope because it doesnt have a good coverage ( low-medium ) but if you have a super flawless skin *lucky you* then i do recommend this product :) and i will most likely to be purchasing their skin care products :)
