MUSES EVENT REPORT: JAPAN BEAUTY WEEK- MENARD SOFT LAUNCHING LISCIARE & 6 FACIAL COLORED MASK

Good Morning Angels!

Let me begin this post with a picture of an award ;)

can you guess what this is?

Who here never heard of Menard? I am sure you have heard of it before.

How do I find out about Menard?

My mom of course, being a woman who is obsessed with skincare,

she really recommends Menard!

It is an honor to be invited to Menard event in Japan Beauty Week.

Japan Beauty Week (JBW) is a beauty exhibition event that was held by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) Japan. The event was held in January at Plaza Senayan Jakarta on 23-26 January 2014. There were 30 medias and invitations from different brands such as Menard, Kanebo, Astalift, Kracie, Hada Labo and Panasonic Beauty. There were demos from each brand and for Menard, they were doing a soft launching for their new skincare called LISCIARE and the 6 facial colored mask!

Before I start taking you all through the journey of the event,

Alright, lets begin!

This is the event and it was opened by Stella Lee ;)

And here we were sitting down nicely and having a chit chat before the event started.

It was great meeting the rest blogger, even fashion blogger!

Here on stage, the demo of the Tsukika and Beauness skincare was shown.

Each of us here, got the chance to try the product!

I always believe of a good sample as a good marketing.

And here, we were introduced LISCIARE.

The secret to have a smooth soft silky skin lies here :)

The pressure, the movement and the instruction on applying the skincare were shown too!

I remember the great scent from LISCIARE.

The final outcome was a good smooth texture.

And here is the 6 facial colored mask,

to know more, I will have a detailed post about it!

and a secret mission ;)

But to summarize the mask, the facial mask, comes in different colors (6 colors)

and each colors fix different types of skin problems. The mask was unique,

well I never tried this kind of mask before.

This is how to prepare the mask!

Cool huh?

Apply it onto the surface and leave it dry!

So what makes this mask different compare to the other masks?

Look at the texture!

When it dried, you can easily lift it up without hurting your skin. What's even more unique was

the shape and the texture of the mask that was kinda rubber-ish? stretchy?

MUSES EVENT REPORT: GLAMGLOW PRESS CONFERENCE & COCKTAILS PARTY WITH GLENN AND SHANNON DELLIMORE AT MOOVINA PLAZA INDONESIA

Hello Glamorous people!

A few days ago, i was invited to a glamorous event by GLAMGLOW.

It is the event where we had the chance to meet the bubbly and fun co-founder of Glamglow

Glenn and Shannon Dellimore.

Bubbly, funny and charismatic.

That is how I would describe them.

I am one of the loyal fan and customer to Glamglow.

I have tried the Youthmud, LOVE IT!

I even recommend the product to a lot of people.

Well I guess, it is worth every penny.

That is probably why I was super duper excited when I received the Invitation

to meet the co-founder of Glamglow!

The event took place in Plaza indonesia Moovina, I arrived late :P

but I hope i didnt missed a lot of information. 

The MC was Nadia Mulya *another gorgeous woman*

When I arrived, they were introducing the places and people who used them.

A bunch of A-List spas, production house and even actress/actors/singers use them.

The products also being sell in airlines and hotels.

Here is the funny story, Glenn was telling us his idea for the name of this product.

It was "RED CARPET GLOW"

Wellllll..... I like GLAMGLOW better. It is simple, exclusive and professional.

I have tried the Youthmud

I gotta say, this product is a superb product to be used if you are busy person 

and would love to have a glowing skin within a few minutes instantly.

I really recommend this product, apply it before applying your makeup to give that extra glow ;)

* i cant deny whenever i see Nina, Ian Somerhalder appear in my mind, he is the perfection in life, Ian if you are reading this, I HEART YOU :P*

Throughout the session, we also had the chance to try out the Youthmud and Supermud.

I have tried the Youthmud. Now I am curious about the Supermud.

First impression on hand:

- it has a stronger scent compare to the Youthmud and the color is darker. Dries the same as Youthmud.

Glamglow actually carries a few other range of products such as:

-Brightmud eye treatment 

* I think this will be good if you have dull skin around the eyes*

- Thirstymud

*Hydrating treatment, I think this is for people with dry skin (although i am sure most skin types can use this)*

And... here is... me!

Not missing the chance to try the SUPERMUD from Glenn!

First impression:

- the scent is stronger than the Youthmud

- I dont feel any strong uncomfortable tingles, infact, I barely felt any tingles.

Then we had the photo session with the EMMY AWARD!

yes, EMMY AWARD! REAL! ORIGINAL! AUTHENTIC!

all the way from HOLLYWOOD!

I had the chance to touch it!

I feel like a celebrity at that moment

*even with the nose covered in SUPERMUD*

Then, nope, the event doesnt stop there!

It continued to the cocktails party at night in Moovina.

MUSES EVENT REPORT: OSCAR BLANDI "CHANGE HAS NEVER BEEN THIS EASY" WORKSHOP

Hello hair-lovers!

is that weird? :P

Lately, I have been into hair styling A LOT. 

Which means, it is a learning process for me on what hair styling products needed. 

This is where the magic begins.

Let me take you to discover a new product that works wonder on your hair.

First of all, I arrived late.

Rains and traffic in here are not friendly at all!

When I arrived, Ms. Dhianty was the model of the hair-demo.

Truthfully, i was lost because I arrived and the workshop had begun.

This is why I hate arriving late.

This is the magic. The product every hair stylist or even you who are reading this must own.

PROTEIN MIST FOR RESTYLING HAIR OSCAR BLANDI

why? well lets continue.

Yeah i was busy selfie-ing haha :P

Ms. Dhianty's hair was curled and usually, when you have curled your hair, it is pretty hard to restyle them, especially if you have hair like mine, easy to style, hard to restyle.

Here is her hair, all curled.

*sorry i forgot to take the other side but no worries, just keep on reading*

This is after spraying the product.

TA-DA!

Amazing right?

I was amazed and in so much awed. 

So, to prove the product is super duper good,

Here is the workshop and here is me, with my hair non-styled.

Let the styling begin!

First I spray this Volumizing hair spray. To add volume to my thin hair ;'(

And i took the opportunity to learn to make curls with straightener.

It was a long process but i am glad i asked haha

Alright now let me prove to you *again* 

why this is the holy grail for hair styling.

Look at my hair, the curl is "broken".

Now we dont want to go out looking like this dont we?

Well i dont. 

Take the PROTEIN MIST FOR RESTYLING HAIR OSCAR BLANDI

and sprayed it onto the "troubled" hair and just combed it.

Here is the first spray and a few combs.

It had loosen up the curls up to 90%! Leaving a wavy style.

The out of my curiosity,

I added the 2nd spray, just to see how far it will go.

Almost straight!

After you have sprayed and comb, you can dry it with a drier and style the hair over again ;)

Now, this is on my wish-list for my birthday haha

Now let the hair styling + lesson begin!

well it is good for the first timer like me :P

Then I decided to take a picture in the middle of the workshop, 

you can see how we were all into the product and the workshop!

I personally love attending workshop, I can get new knowledge and able to meet new people!

And now, let the professional hair stylist fix my messy curls.
