REVIEW: YSL ROUGE VOLUPTE SHINE LIPSTICK #14 CORAIL IN TOUCH

Hello my rainbow popsicles!

Did you know that I have been eyeing, aiming, wanting, longing for YSL Rouge Volupte #8 lipstick

but they are all discontinue *i heard*.

It is super annoying because I have been wanting it since last year.

I should have bought it the day I saw it.

Anyhoo, I decided to give other color a try, so I wanted #13 Peach passion

and they dont have it here.

Just my luck eh?

So, I decided to buy another coral color from their new range

The Rouge Volupte Shine.

So what is the difference?

Well the "shine" collection has more moisture and it is more glossy

compare to the previous one. 

First of all, YSL has the most elegant and expensive packaging.

When you hold it, you know it is coming and made from a good material.

I love the gold packaging. Gold and shiny.

The thing that made this product looks expensive is the

pattern of the logo that are carved? in the middle of the lipstick in gold.

I have been obsessed with peach color, pink + coral combo.

They are such a gorgeous color to wear day and night.

So, after spending a few good moments at the YSL store,

I decided to pick #14 in the "shine" collection.

At first I felt it is too orange but when I swatch it on my hand,

it is orange but not a bright orange.

Here is the swatch.

The best thing about this lipstick is, not only it has a high moisture for the lips,

which i need A LOT! it has a good color pigmentation for lipstick with moistures.

You can control the color of the lipstick on your lips.

If you wanna go sheer, apply one layer or if you want to go bright, apply a few layers.

It glides on easily on my lips and has a good coverage for a moisture & glossy lipstick.

But of course, if I have to compare with the previous collection,

the previous collection are more pigmented and matte.

But for a moisturizing & glossy lipstick, the pigmentation for this is good :)

There is a slight of fruity scent.

and this is how it looks on me :)

I applied 2 layers and I love how natural it looks.

and moisturizing because i have dry lips that caused me to pick on the dry skin.

That is a bad habit.

REVIEW: BENEFIT THEY'RE REAL MASCARA

Hello love :)

This product here probably isnt a stranger to you.

And there are a lot of reviews out there from other beauty bloggers who reviewed about this :)

But let me tell you what I honestly think.

I purchased this a few months ago.

It came with an outer packaging but I threw it away ;D

The packaging *based on my memory* was black 

with statement saying:

- waterproof

- lengthens

-curls

-volumise

So here is the mascara itself.

I love the mascara packaging, shiny yet vintage but not a girly vintage :)

Then the wand or the brush *however you want to call it"

It is different than other mascara brushes that i have tried, this one here has a more tiny

brushes and not too "brushy". What makes this different is the tiny round tip with tiny brush where it allows you to apply mascara to the area where it is hard to get :)

Very Clever!

Then let me show you the proof.

-volumize *err kinda but i give it a check*

-it held the curls pretty nicely *for almost a whole day*

Can you spot the different?

Well I think this mascara really shows what it says on the box.

I love this mascara because:

#1. waterproof

*with my oily eyelids, i need all the waterproof/crease-proof product in full strength that are available*

#2. Lengthens

*well my eyelashes are straight and short so by adding some length it helps to make my eyes bigger*

#3. Volumizing

* there is a trick if you want to add more volume :) by adding a coat on top of the upper lashes*

#4. Holds the curl very good :D

There are 2 divisions on this mask,

the mask sheet and the after-mask essence or cream.

This is the mask inside the packaging, neatly folded.

and this is the mask on my face :)

Compare to other masks i have tried before, 

this one here is more thick in terms of it has a thicker and more wet

essence on the mask which is good in hydrating and moisturizing.

The excess of the essence from the sheet, you can always apply it onto your neck or hand :)

I usually leave it for 20 minutes with some cucumber slices on my eyes.

The sheet itself is made from a thin cotton fiber with the cut outs for our eyes, lips and nose

*especially nose, it is important for me to be able to breathe*

The scent was alright for me :) 

Once i removed the mask, i feel moisturized and hydrated.

oh and i forgot to capture that

this sheet mask is wrapped with a clean glossy foil? or paper?

so that it is easier for us to pull and open.

I have had mask without any glossy thick plastic as the division which made it hard for me to open.

sometimes i even ripped them but not this one :D

and this is the essence, i didnt capture my face because i forgot >.<

This essence is in the form of creamy texture, it is thicker than the essence from the face mask sheet. 

It absorbs easily into my skin but i feel a tiny bit stickiness, but i feel that way with any other masks so it is no biggie :) 

If there is an extra essence, you can always apply it onto your neck and hands ;D

If you have a dry skin, this product might for best for you instead of oily skin.

But i dont mind because i only use it once a week or maybe two weeks just to relax my mind and facial skin.

Anyway, another review on a blush on!

The price:

The packaging:

Hmm, somehow it doesnt attract me but!

With the price and the size of the blush, it is worth it!

The transparent lid is my fave because it allows me to see the color.

At the back it doesnt have alot of information but the name of the color is there :D

What is interesting about this product is, they are using the space wisely.

When i say wisely, they considered the price, the size and the practical of the product.

Size of the blush is big, Price was reasonable and the practicality of the product can be seen where they kept the brush :D

See what did i tell you about the size of the blush? and the reasonable amount of money you pay :D

very worth it right?

The texture is so soft and velvety!

With a gentle and light swipe, the color is visible and thick on my finger.

The texture allows this product to be able to blend nicely and a little bit goes a long way :D

The pigmentation is good.

i didnt add alot but you can always layer it up!

Conclusion:

- worth every penny

- love the texture and pigmentation

- love the packaging

- downside: less color choice :/

REVIEW: BLESS LIQUID FOUNDATION (NORMAL - DRY)

Hello my love!

I had my doubt on trying on this product.

why? well this is a foundation for normal- dry skin.

My skin isnt dry, instead it is super oily.

but lets see :)

Keep in mind that Bless products are made based on skincare and formulated in the hand of good dermatologists so products tend to have different texture because it is aiming to heal and make the skin better looking ;)

The packaging:

Simple, thats the first thing that came into my mind. 

It is sturdy so dont worry if you drop it but make sure not to drop it :D

The packaging contains information on the ingredients, the expiry date, the batch no and more :)

which i think it is good if you lost the box, you can always read it on the bottle itself.

To use the foundation, open the cap and twist it.

This is the top of the bottle and i think it is clean to have this type of top.

This foundation contains formula that will make the facial skin even and to make the pores smaller.

The swatch:

Lets start with the texture, it is watery but not really watery because i can feel a slight creamy texture in it but overall, it is still watery. The blending ability is rather difficult because it doesnt blend in straight away but with a lot of patience, the product will blend into the skin.

The color is different from the acne ones.

The coverage is actually good!

The scent is similar to the acne foundation one :D powdery.

so here is my face with no makeup

first layer of foundation, it has a good coverage actually, my acne is somehow hidden ;D

second layer, my whole skin tone is even.

lets see the process, since i never wear foundation for oily skin.

Conclusion:

- surprise! if you have oily skin, feel free to use this foundation! i love the staying power! 

- the texture is light weight and watery yet moisturizing a little which i like

- the blending ability isn't that great

- the scent is alright

- the coverage is actually good!
