REVIEW: TONY MOLY DEAR ME BB CREAM (LEAST FAVE)

i am pretty sure you guys are not a stranger when it comes to me + bb cream. yeap i love bb cream! whats there not to love? it moisturize your skin, it has spf, and the best part is it covers all the blemishes you have! 

but different brand has different finish on my face and from all the brands i have tried, yeap, im not gonna go and upload and talk about every single one of them but if you are curious to know about a certain brand, leave a comment and i will do a review for you ;)

so 

yes in Tony Moly, they have a wide range of bb cream but i chose this one, why? hmm probably when i was doing my research this particular items appear the most and it says for oily skin go for the blue one but who to know that this product is the worst bb cream i ever try. but i think i am gonna try and buy another bb cream from there haha

this is the packaging, i love it actually simple and small and thin! it saves alot of space.

when you open it, the pump or the top of the tube is very convenient as i am the type of person who loves to control the amount of items so that it doesnt go to waste

the colour of this bb cream is almost the same as our skin colour * because there are bb creams in with grey undertone* thats one good thing about this

so why do i found this bb cream is a failure for me?

as you all know i have a very super duper extreme oily skin and it is hard for me to find products that will mattify my skin although there are a few haha ok back to this product so i tested it, and my skin got oily within 1 hours. Now i thought to myself, was the coverage bad? no it wasnt. when i apply this first, it is like other bb cream, a goof full coverage. Is it because of the SPF? well.. if it is cause by the spf 30 it has, the why does my Lioelli bb cream works wonder on my skin? i have no idea.. but one major thing i didnt like about this bb cream is how fast my oily can get compare to my other bb cream :( well, i cant complain much though because the price is also cheaper compare to the other. i think it was rp 99000

any recommendation for another brand of bb cream?

REVIEW: LIOELI TRIPLE THE SOLUTION BB CREAM ( LOVE )

This product right here deserve a spot on my blog!

by now, you are familiar on my obsession on bb cream right?

not only it moisturizes, it has spf but it also has a great coverage that covers all of my blemishes :) yayy

i was ecstatic when i heard this brand had finally arrived and open its store in jakarta! trust me as soon as i found out, i went there to buy this particular item! and guess what?! it was worth it! well i did buy a powder together with this bb cream and i think it cost RP 500.000 ish and i got free goodies, if i am not mistake it was.. cotton pad, make up remover wipes and 2 eyeshadows :)

okay enough rambling, why do i love this product?

it is simply because it makes my skin stay matte almost 6 hours! and this is a miracle when it comes to bb cream knowing they have spf. So if you have an oily skin like me * my skin is basically a greasy pan* you can give this a try. I wonder do they have a small tester/sample at the booth? hmm

so the packaging, hmm so-so, normal but i love the pinky theme on it :) and the curly ornament on the logo :) makes it so girly

 

yeap it is all in korean and i dont understand korean haha

so when you open the cap, it has a pump but! one tiny imperfection from this product, the cap! it is so close the tip of the pump so whenever you push out the product and there are some left on the pump, as soon as you put the cap on, the product will smear inside the cap.. :( 

again with the colour of the cream, to die for! ok a little to extreme hahah but i am a sucker for bb cream with skin tone undertone :) and this one blends so well with my skin!

will i purchase this again? OH HECK YES I WILL! but i gotta wait til everything finish though because currently, i am so in love with this i barely even wanna use it :P 

with the price i think it is worth it :) i will let you know if i found a lower cost but marvelous bb cream :)

REVIEW: JUST BITTEN KISSABLE REVLON LIP BALM/STAIN

i am not sure whether this product has enter Indonesia yet or not, if they do let me know please!

so i got this item from my cousin, i actually asked her to buy all the shades they have but she only manage to get me one as the others were sold out! amazing eh? so i wonder why is this item so famous?!

when i saw this, it straight away reminds me of the Clinique Chubby stick but with the clinique ones, i personally dont like them. It is just that they dont have a wider colour choices and when i apply it onto my lips, the colour just doesnt compliment my whole look :(

alright so moving on.. the packaging is similar to Clinique and i have no problem with that :) i actually love this one more because somehow it is cuter :) and handy

 when i open the cap, i can smell slightly a minty scent and i am okay with that because it isnt strong * i dont like minty scent or feel especially onto my face* and when i apply it onto my lips, it has a cooling effect that last for a few seconds and of course the minty scent still lingers there :)

i am glad my cousin got me this shade because i am a sucker for everything pink (soft and natural) so when i apply it onto my lips, it has moisturizer and it moisturizes my chapped lips * i thought it is just a lip tint but boy was i wrong! haha * since this is just a lipbalm, i think it has given a great colour onto the first layer on my lips, because there is a slight colour on my lips and as i layer it up, it builds up the colour and i love the brighter pink!

sorry my camera doesnt do its justice :( i certainly need a new one too 

i think this product is a great combo : perfect colour pigmentation & moisturizes. i am certainly will purchase this again so i am waiting for this items to be sold over here!

REVIEW- REVLON FOUNDATION (PHOTOREADY, AIRBRUSH MOUSSE & COLOURSTAY)

hello love!

alright. so for some of you, you guys know my deepest lustful love for REVLON. It could be their face products, lipstick, cheeks, eyeshadow, eyebrow, gosh name it all, i love them all :D

so, the story was... i always knew i have an oily skin and sometimes acne prone, i used to go to clinics for my skin care and makeup (foundation & powder) because i feared if i used other products, my skin will get worse.

i forgot how many clinics i have tried, but the last one is Erha. 

no i am not gonna bash or talk poop upon Erha, in fact, i do quite enjoy my 1 hour journey to Erha, i love their interior, i love their process, and everything. i gotta say, Erha is fancy. well the most fancy clinic i ever been to. Their acne lotion/moisturizer/meds are good, gives your skin a silky smooth look but what happen when you decided to stop cuz you know your skin is glowing? well hello pimples and everything before. yeap thats right! once you stop, all the pimples came out haha so it is kinda an addiction you know, keep on going back there. If you dont mind spending loads of money there, well then ur lucky, but i dont, i want to spend my money where i can see it is worth it so in this case, it is like spending money for nothing. Oh! the foundation! how can i forgot, so yes i did bought my foundation there and it made my face looks like a greasy ball within an hour, and the powder, it is fine but i am fine with any powder. So i decided to get out from there, did my own research on moisturizer, facial cleanser and foundation.

It takes a long time and money but i know the money i spent isnt as great as the ones in clinics and when i look for foundation, moisturizer and powder, i started with drugstore items first.

so long story short, i feel that REVLON works well on me. I am addicted to them and i keep on going back!

Here i  have 3 foundation that i bought from REVLON.

l-r : PHOTOREADY, AIRBRUSH MOUSSE, COLOURSTAY

it is very easy to choose the colour for my skin, just pick the lightest/fairest colour they have haha :P

so packaging wise:

colourstay- i love the front packagin, looks very expensive especially with the glass bottle and a black cap.

airbrush mousse- hmmm i am okay with this.. the "body" of the bottle is.. plastic-y, the cap is transparant

photoready- i am also okay with this although the body of the bottle is from glass but i guess it is the shape haha silly me 

so when you open the caps:

photoready has a pump which is good! love foundation with a pump on it, it makes it easier for me to control the amount of foundie i want to use :)

but sadly, it is still messy :S or it is just prob me haha a messy person i am

so some little sample onto my hand, see i told you how much i love this pump, i can just pour a tiny bit onto my hand ;D

and when i swipe it, rather thick compare to the other 2, and people says it has shimmer and it does but you really cant see it so no problemo for me :)

surprisingly enough, for an oily skin like me, somehow it did control my oil slightly.. SLIGHTLY! haha but it is a love hate relastionship with this one here :)

you see when it comes to mousse, it found it so difficult to control the amount you want to use but here it is the look of the pump

oh honey! dont let this fool you haha i thought that this product will be thick but no! when you apply it onto your face, it is actually a medium coverage. So if you have a normal skin and would love to have a dewy and natural look, go for this one. If you have an oily skin like mine... i suggest.. dont because it is simply wont hold your skin matte. You need to prepare blotting paper for this one. As for dry skin, i have no idea on how it will turn out, so if you have a dry skin and tried this product before, do let me know :)

colourstay, i hate the cap! there is no pump! hahaha

basically to use this, you gotta be super careful and pour them onto the back of your hand * you need to shake it well so the liquid inside is all mix*

see what happen when you dont shake it.. haha

overall, I LOVE THIS PRODUCT AND WONT MIND REPURCHASING THIS AGAIN! it stays matte on my skin almost 12 hours! but one bad thing: the plasticy strong scent!

but hey! whats a scent compare to a good flawless dewy skin!

so conclusion:

for an oily skin people like me, from these three, just splurge on colourstay foundation but make sure you choose for the oily skin ones :) i hope it works on you!

the price? in rupiah it is RP 115.000 if i am not mistaken 

pricey for a drugstore product but still! THE FINISH LOOK IS AWESOME!

REVIEW- OLAY WHITE RADIANCE MOISTURIZER

OKAY!

so this is long overdue, sorry guys, been hectic with my design which is good *THANK YOU LORD* but i am back today * before finishing up the other project later* 

I never ever find the PERFECT moisturizer before and i think this specific moisturizer deserve a whole post on my blog :) as you all have read my previous review *boo* i have a very oily and sensitive skin. I do try to find a moisturizer to keep my skin matte but then again I always thought keeping the skin matte while you have an oily skin is not a good idea because, you are closing and clogging your skin from breathing. Can you imagine being breathless? wouldn't want that happen onto my skin :) 

How do i choose my moisturizer? hmm this is kinda hard, of course i research but most of the product that they show arent available in here :( and also, i dont believe in splurging on an expensive product because i tried once, it irritated my skin. so no more! i decided to narrow my research into drugstore products. There are alot of brands and you have to research one by one *told ya long and in depth research* i ended up with LOREAL, OLAY, PONDS, CLEAN&CLEAR, SARIAYU and trust me i did purchased each single one of them ;D *call me crazy*

so tried them one by one.. only OLAY WHITE RADIANCE lingered in my heart.

here is the look of the jar. classy. elegant. simple and shiny! I have them in day and night. 

look at the reflection of the light! loving this.

this is what it looks like, this is the morning moisturizer. The texture is soft, it has a soft scent *i am so bad in describing scent*, it has a soft peachy pink colour, it blends in well, although the cream is kinda thick, and if you have oily skin like me, just apply a pea size all over your face and spread it all over your face. the reason why it is slightly thick and creamy is because this moisturizer has spf 24! 

this is the night cream, the colour is slightly different, it is more to white ivory than the morning one. The purpose for this moisturizer at night is to restore all the nutrients, cells, you know all those good things your skin needs after a long day. this is slightly lighter compare to the morning one because this doesnt have spf. It also has slightly the same smell to the morning moisturizer one and also! just apply a pea size for the whole face :) way to save alot of money! liking it!

see the different? the cream on top is the night one, bottom the morning one.

left- night cream, right- morning cream

do you see the different? morning one is slightly thicker.

after a few blend. the bottom one is the morning one :) the top- night cream.

overall conclusion:

I LOVEEEEEEEEE THIS! yes i know it doesnt help with the oil on my skin but hey! there is no way to stop your skin from being oily, okay maybe there is but i aint taking a risk on my face, infact being oily is good, a natural moisturizer! all you need is blotting paper and some powder to matte-fy your skin! This moisturizer is for white radiance so i believe for whitening the skin, i dont see that since i have a pretty fair skin so i dont think this will do anything on my skin at all haha but i do realised that my skin has gotten more "cleaner" , softer and you know radiant! *hence the name, duh feegy*  it doesnt break me out, doesnt irritate my skin and the spf!

will i repurchase this? YES A THOUSAND TIMES YES! works so frggginnn good on my skin. * sorry guys i am just happy*

will i recommend this? well it works well on me, a person who has oily and sensitive skin, if you are daring enough, why not!

REVIEW- LOREAL HYDRAFRESH

hello my beautiful people. guess what?! my ac is broken again bleh. i think i need a new one but aside from that, i feel the urge to write a review on this specific product range. I know these are only the gel & moisturizer since i didn't buy the facial cleanser and toner. Thank God i didn't because these products are a MAJOR FAILURE! well good for you if this products work, you don't know how i wish and hoping these would work on my skin

Alrighty then, where should i began? As you all may or may not know that i promise myself to take a goo care of my skin more so i always believe in a good moisturizer so there were the days and probably up until now i am in a mission to search for the best moisturizer.  Then i found these! when i hear Loreal carry the brand Lancome, i thought wow! they must be good! BOY WAS I WRONG.

Here is the look of their lid. simple. i love it. i actually love their packaging :)

This is the front look of their jar. the green one i believe is the serum *thats what the sales person told me* and the right one in white is the moisturizer.

As you guys can see both jar are still full and i only use them once. wonder why?

I have taken a few sample from the jar and apply them onto my hand for you all to see :)

So why didnt it work on me? I have an oily and sensitive skin, i did my research and i found that these break people out but then again i thought to myself, this is me i am different so it MIGHT work on me. There i was walking in the mall searching for this specific range of product, i wanted to buy the cleanser and toner but somehow i didnt. 

I apply the green one because the sales person told me to apply the green one then the moisturizer, she said that the green one is the serum in a gel form. So i followed as i was told, it was fine, it is gel-ish, has a cooling effect and a minty scent. Although i am not a big fan of mint but somehow i didnt mind the scent. Some people said that the gel form is actually the dupe for clinique. I agree though because they look the same *clinique moisture surge*. So, when i apply this, my face was okay but the gel was making my skin rather sticky.

Once the gel had dried out, i apply the moisturiser and guess what? I CAN FEEL A WHOLE BURNING SENSATION ON MY WHOLE FACE ESPECIALLY ON MY NOSE AND CHIN. The scent is minty but the texture is slightly thick compare to the gel and it has also a cooling effect. The side effect from these.. on my skin *aside the burning sensation* it irritated my skin, leaved my skin dried, patchy and red. It last for a week and up until today, my skin is still dry. 

How did i treated the effect on my skin? i seriously have no idea on how to treat these effect but i use my normal moisturizer and im praying hard my face is back to normal.

Will i repurchase this? HECK NO. infact i wanted to give it away so if you want, tell me. giving them for free but of course you gotta pay for the delivery :)

Will i recommend this? i am not sure since it worked like poop on my skin but if you use this product and you have an amazing skin! i envy you! but if some of you have a sensitive skin, dont bother to purchase, dont bother to even look at this, dont bother to even think of this :P otherwise you will end like me, dryness and patches on my face. sucks. but if you are daring enough, why not?
