REVIEW- INGLOT BLUSH & POT LIPGLOSS

aloha sweety pie!

have you ever heard of the brand named Inglot? well i heard the brand and the good review on youtube and when i was away for a short holiday i found this brand and i went straight inside to buy but then again, when i buy items, i buy items that i use on a daily basis which are lipstick and blush, as for foundation or powder i am very picky and usually i will do a deep research on them :)

before the review starts:

alright now you have read the warning haha lets get on with it!

here is the packaging, palette or jar or however you want to call them :) 

okay so.. the palette/jar.. i dont like them!

for the lipgloss it is placed in a jar.. a small tiny jar where even my little finger cant get in.. :( but the good thing about it is, it is made from glass so it looks slightly fancy :D it doesnt come with a lipgloss applicator and yes did i say to get the items you have to dip your fingers in? it is unhygienic for me,  whilst the blush, the packaging is very plain, i had a similar packaging from a not-so-well-known brand and it cost like IDR 75 -ish. The blush jar is made from plastic, well it isnt glass like the lipgloss and it is lighter and seeing how posh the counter is for Inglot, I purchase these two items for around IDR 250 each.

here are the swatches, for the blush, color pigmentation is medium because i have blush that has a better and greater pigmentation although with this one you can always layer it up but it is annoying for me :P and the texture is.. slightly hard and rough for a blush and like 30% velvety and i think this is the reason why i say it has medium pigmentation but it doesnt matter since to apply this i need a blush brush. Although the texture also isnt velvety enough but it blends in well onto your skin though.

as for the lipgloss, i love the color pigmentation, the color is visible and it moisturizes my lips too! with this product,you only need a tiny bit because with a small amount of lipgloss, it goes a long wayyyyyy :D

one good thing about Inglot is, it has a lot of colors choices, trust  me! i spend hours in Inglot just to decided which color to buy and it isn't satisfying because i was broke! 

the lipgloss has this tiny fruity scent and it is alright for me :) while the blush it doesn't really have any scent when you apply it onto your cheeks but if you smell it close enough it has tiny scent of ... the typical and normal blush :P 

i am so bad with describing scent but thats the best i can describe :)

conlcusion:

blush: i wont purchase the blush because i felt that it isnt that great in terms of palette, texture and pigmentation and of course price

liploss: yes i would repurchase this even it is somehow unhygienic but i still can use a lip brush to apply :) i love the color pigmentation and it moisturizes my lips

- slightly pricey in my own opinion

- blush: not so velvety = medium coverage and the plastic-y packaging

- lipgloss = unhygienic 

+ lipgloss= pigmented!

REVIEW- MAYBELLINE CLEAR SMOOTH BLUSH

Bonjour love.

Today i will do a short review on Maybelline Clear Smooth Blush.  

The picture below is the packaging itself,  i love packaging with transparent lid where i can see the color easily  BUT i hate the color for the bottom part of the jar, it makes this blush looks cheap * no offense* There are four colors i think but i only get 2. The scent can be hardly smell so thats a good thing!

As for texture, it is soft and velvety and whenever a product that is velvety like thick powder-ish mix with mousse-y feeling, it will give a great pigmentation *well at least that is from my observation* so with the strong and superb pigmentation as you all can see from the picture below * that is taken with one single swipe* it blends in well and glide easily on your cheek. With this super pigmentation, you only need to dab very light to get the color and brush it off onto you cheeks lightly.

conclusion:

- good pigmentation, soft and blend-able texture

- handy

- price isnt that expensive i think it was around IDR 45k

on the downside.. i just dont like the packaging or the jar

REVIEW: PIXY (BLUSH, LIPSTICK & POWDER)

i think i am obsessed with local brands, i mean who knew they are so good! so i am trying a new brand, this is my second local brand that i owned.

i love the name of this brand: PIXY, somehow reminded me of my high-school time, a friend of mine used to call me Pixy, i have no friggin clue why would he call me that? better not be something bad haha but anyway.... 

i love the packaging, pink! well not all pink but yes around that tone.. pink- earthy brown color :) 

i love anything warm and girl tone, so i bought them when hypermart was having a promo, so you know, why not? ive got nothing to lose.

I think the packaging is simple, normal, i am alright with it, i am not fussy with packaging anyway.

left-right: powder -refill (white porcelain), blush on (passion rose), lipstick (puppy love)

so here is my face with the powder, a little story behind this, i apply Sariayu foundation and it is rather dark onto my skin, but by applying this powder, it actually balance it out! so i think the powder itself has a good pigmentation, strong coverage and lightweight!

so here is my whole look for today :) just simple because i am going to my dad's office only, not anywhere else :P i love how the powder made my skin look flawless!

the lipstick, it has moisturizer, i love the pinky color :) it looks very fresh on me * i think my mom told me that this brand is for teenagers but i think it works for everyone* it has a good pigmentation so this color in the picture *again silly camera doesnt do any good on the color* is taken with only one swipe :) isnt that ah-mah-zing!?

again, it applies the same to the blush on, it has a strong pigmentation and with only one swipe of the blush, the color appear on my cheek! i dont think it has any scent? well i dont really like smelling stuff ahaha so i am very ignorant when it comes to scent :P the texture is soft and velvety

my conclusion:

likes:

- GOOD PIGMENTATION

- LOW COST

- Soft texture

- easy to blend and glide

- suits well onto my skin tone

dislike:

- dont think i have any?

will i repurchased?

- powder yes! 

- blush on yes

- lipstick yes but i try not to buy since i owned so many lip products haha

REVIEW: PRECIOUS MINERAL BB CREAM BY ETUDE

again, i am trying another new bb cream. First, yes i know this isnt the proper bb cream but this is a sample that i buy from: K-POP BEAUTYSHOP

I have been wanting to buy this bb cream but there is a part of me where i stopped myself from buying because i dont want to buy a product in a large amount of money but it wont work so i am very happy when i found this i was ecstatic!

so the sample packaging itself is super cute! i am a sucker for cute and vintage packaging :)

here is the swatch, i pour too much :'( 

and this is how it looks like onto my skin

so conclusion and thoughts,

first, dont pour alot of bb cream onto your face because it will look cakey and made up :P that is what happened today.

the texture of this bb cream is actually lightweight and i always love any cream or foundation that is lightweight.

the scent? it has this soft and gentle scent that i have no problem with that :)

so far this is good for me * if only i didnt pour too much onto my face :'( *

the color pigmentation onto my skin is slightly lighter than my skin so i had to put a darker color of powder but that is no matter :)

long lasting? i am not sure but it last for 2 hours which is good for me *this is because i attend a makeup class which i didnt know at first it was a makeup class, silly me :) * but i am not a stranger when it comes to oily skin, always prepare a powder and blotting paper in my bag :P

will i repurchase? 

yes i will buy the whole bottle itself :)

have you guys heard or seen this brand called: MAKE OVER ?

i havent and i gotta say i did judge it at first. I mean i didnt know where it comes from, the quality, how famous was it, and you know loads of questions ran in my mind until one day, i just went to their booth and take a look *it was my birthday and i was in the mood of spending but didnt find any clothes or shoes or bags so i ended looking at make up and decided to see this brand*

so i found out that this brand is made from Indonesia

boy am i proud or what? haha go Indonesia!

The packaging, it is simple but somehow it isnt classy/expensive looking for me but thats just my opinion though. Their products arent that complete i think, maybe it is cause they are trying out the market first? i dont know. The colors range they have isnt wide for my skin tone. i dont think i look good with a brown orangey color and with this brand, majority of their colors are based under these two undertone * i dont know about now though since i havent been there for ages, so correct me if i am wrong *

what makes me changed my mind on their products?

i always love a good make up in reasonable price with a perfect quality and i think i found them in this brand :) i remember the sales person told me that they are the dupe for MAC but i think when they say dupe, it was more to the quality.

alrighty then, from these pictures above, you guys can see how pigmented it is! another thing that i love is the texture is so velvety and soft especially the eyeliner. I am very picky when it comes to eyeliner, it has to be soft and good in pigmentation and i got them in this brand :) so i got two colors haha 

As for the lipsticks and lipglosses, you all ought to know that the colour swatches are done with only ONE swipe! how amazing is that? one swipe and the color is visible! 

Oh and i apologize for the blush on color, my camera super sucks and doesnt do any justice to the product but the color is somehow.. pink with a slight darker blue undertone and i love it! again good pigmentation and easy to apply. Lastly, the eyeshadow, i wont say anything much as the picture already speaks for itself, thick super duper pigmentation!

so i think with their lacking of color ranges compare to their quality...

well helllo! i am coming back to buy more!
