A SIMPLE FACIAL ROUTINE AT HOME

To all the girls out there, here is a question that i have in mind for you
do you like going to SPA, Facial? make over , salon? anything beauty girly self pamper?
i do!

i always go to SPA once a month, facial twice a month, hair spa twice a month, manicure & pedicure once a month but i know it is very pricey so i found a way how to do one of these self pamper procedure at home :) and so far it works :)

one of my favorite self pampered i love doing at home is facial. Different places have different process of facial, i prefer the ones where they extract your pimples out but my mom told me that it isnt good so i tried not to go to facial that often, but at the same time i realised that.. if i dont go to facial, my skin became very rough and dull.

so i have my own process of doing facial at home without the extraction :)

what you need:
l-r: facial scrub, cleansing milk, facial foam, facial mask, toner
(choose the ones that works well on your skin, since i have a very oily face, i have to go for a clay mask)

two towel : bigger size and small

a bowl, mask brush, cotton pad, sponge

first, tied up your hair so it is neat :)

fill in the bowl with water

You need to clean your face by using a cleansing milk, it will help to lift up the dirt and eveything :) apply it all over your face and while cleansing it with your fingers, massage it slightly.

take a cotton pad, and wipe away the cleansing milk

use the sponge that has been soaked in water, squeeze it, and clean your face :)

lets begin to scrub! put a few dots all over your face, use your fingers and gently massage your whole face :) keep on massaging until the scrub became very thick and hard to blend.

take the sponge again, dont forget to pour a clean water again into the bowl.
clean the scrub from your face :)
by using a sponge it will also help to lift up the dead skin cells.

take the small towel, soaked it in a warm-hot water, squeeze the water out and put it on your face :)
do this 2-3 times

once your face is clean, you can touch and feel the skin is smoother :D
next, take your facial mask, and apply it equally all over your face by using a mask brush

wait for 15 minutes then use the sponge again and clean the mask off from your face :)
dont forget to change the water every time you use it :)

use the facial foam to make sure everything is off and you have a clean face.

then use a cotton pad, pour some toner and apply it all over your face

take your favorite moisturizer and apply it :)

and you are done!

hope you all enjoy this and i hope the result is almost the same as mine :)
i do this twice a month and this helps to save up my money

REVIEW: NYX MATTE LIPSTICK

I LOVE MATTE LIPSTICK

there i said it but i barely wear them because of my dry and chapped lips haha

how are you darling! *smooches*
hows your day?

today's review is about... NYX MATTE LIPSTICK!
the price: IDR 90k ish.. i need to write down the price next time so i can be precise.

here is the packaging, NYX is one of my favorite brand and we all know it is quite low cost in the states but prices surely increase so high when they are being imported here :P so i decided to get 3 colors only.. they are.. Angel, Pale Pink and Tea Rose.

The packaging... they are more to the cute yet not girly cute more like a mature cute and honestly i am not a big fan of the packaging ...

but i love how it is semi transparent to show the color for me to pick easily

Here are the swatches.. they are matte and i love NYX pigmentation especially for the price I pay... like they are literally super pigmented times ten! even with the round lipstick.
The scent, it is alright :P

i seriously think that if you want to splurge but in a tight budget, go for NYX!

okay back to the swatches, it is done with one swipe but look at the vibrant and gorgeous color!
even it is matte, it has slight moisturizer that my lips need :)

the downside is.. in Indonesia, not all colors are available so i gotta say.. the choices of colors is very little :(

will i repurchase?
yes but if only they have more colors to choose from :)

REVIEW: SARIAYU BLUSH ON

did i ever tell you that i love SARIAYU, they are wallet friendly, good quality and exotic haha
i do go to Martha Tilaar shop often to buy their products so i am going to talk about the blush on

before i purchase these two products, i owned just one blush and didnt think i would actually love it but i did and i do !

here is the packaging but i dont really like it as for my personal style but i guess it matched with their theme of: exotic and traditional

never mind about the packaging.. as long as the product is superb right? so packagin.. back to packaging haha before i ramble on to another topic.. normal with mirror and brush. The price was around.. IDR 45K-50K.. aaha again.. im sorry with my memory of numbers.. we just dont get along.

here are the swatches.. that is with one swipe baby! look how thick it is on my fingers. i love how it has a slight glowy effects so i dont need to apply some highlight on my face *not that i need any, i have the oily face that can give an original glow*

the texture is soft and silky, super pigmentation of color so be careful when you apply it :D it has a scent of.. i dont know how to explain .. like a slight scent of powder hahaha well when it comes to scent, i am the worst!

conclusion:
- price: worth it!
- color: super pigmentation
- packaging; errr.. im gonna give like 70% of my liking
- texture: soft and silky so i like it because it makes the blush easy to blend
- scent: it is has a very super light scent so it doesnt bother me

will i repurchase:
yes!

REVIEW: THE BALM LIPSTICK

when i write reviews, they are basically from my own experience and thoughts so if i dont like it, i will say it and if i like it i will say the reason too... i am here not trying to bash the brand because products work differently on everyone, to me it wont work but to others will work so everyone is entitle to their own opinion and choices, there is nothing wrong or right about it :D

with that.. i want to write a review on this brand..

I LOVE THEIR STYLE AND DESIGN! VINTAGE AND FUN! like Marilyn Monroe style.. vintage, sexy and flirty!

the packaging, is alright kinda cute and simple but never mind about that haha

i love the name they give for their products! very sexy and flirty.. i bought them from an online shop..because.. i thought the name was cute and i wanted to try new things haha

here is the picture of their name :P cute right?!

i pick orange and pink color to test them out..

here are the swatches..

the conclusion:
they are not in my favorite category, they are slightly moisturizing but i think.. the color pigmentation is alright but it isnt great compare to other brand.. it leaves off this shiny finishing which i am not a big fan of :( i dont really like the formula.. somehow i feel that it is sticky and hard to apply onto my lips.. it has this slightly minty sensation after  you apply it and i dont like mint let alone any minty feeling.. i hate the smell because it is somehow sweet and dessert-y.. but if you like those smell the smell wont budge you. i prefer scent like floral ahaha
so overall, these arent working for in the sense of feeling, scent and texture as the color pigmentation they are 80% good :)

The price, again forgive me... it is kinda price-y in my opinion, it was around RP 150.000 and probably above * i remember using a voucher and i have to spend 150.000 above* but i dont know maybe you can find these products in a lower price :D

will i repurchase?
nope i wont :(

REVIEW: MAYBELLINE COLOR SENSATIONAL LIPSTICK

Bonjour !
how many of you have seen this items below?
i have seen it ages ago and only recently they made their way into Indonesia.
happy? Oh boy i was ecstatic!

Let me start with the price, it costs RP 70.000 (well it is 69.900) :P i have a tendency of rounding things up :D hey it makes me happy when i bring extra money and knowing i have the change to buy more items hahaha so not wise of me :P

anyhoo, lets start!
honestly, for a drugstore brand, i love the packaging, i have observed and concluded that this collection here has three different colors of lid and they are: pink, red and brown.
I believe each of this colors stand for the color of undertone in these collection. Like let's say, pink, it will have all the pinkish undertone  and somehow i spotted a cool undertone (my faves), while brown, it will have this neutral and brown undertone and red, it will have a warm undertone like red to coral :)
but correct me if i am wrong girls :)

As for the scent, i am not a big fan because you all know that i dont really like scents that are sweet like dessert, cake or anything "food"-ish scent i prefer not to come close to it and these has that scent.
If i have to describe it, it smells like vanilla mixes with bubble gum?

When it comes to the packaging, the only thing that i dont like is the holder at the bottom where we have to hold on tight to lift up the lid, that area is too small for me to hold. Maybe it is just me but that is not in my liking. Other mechanism is fine :)

I manage to purchase these 5 items because you know, i am saving up for my camera :P
i have 3 lipstick color in the pink-ish shades, 1 in coral and 1 in plum.

Here is the swatch and... i feel..

- they are moisturizing, thats what my chapped lips need all the time
- if you are a major fan of pink color lipstick like me, these range will be heaven for you :) so color range is wise compare to the previous collection
- pigmentation for me is alright, not high but you can layer it up which is not a big problem for me, in fact i prefer products like this sometimes

so conclusion:

+ pigmentation, i know i said it isnt great but i do like the pigmentation that allows me to layer it up
+ moisturizing which is good for chapped lips
+ the whole product design, for a drugstore, it looks classy
+ color range thats is wide and more choices for me to choose

- the bottom handle that is too tiny for me to hold
- the scent that is sweet

and dont forget to read the disclaimer below!

REVIEW: REVLON LIP BUTTERS

hmmmm there were times when i doubt of writing this post..but there were times when i felt that i must write this post because these are again one of my favorite lip products.. i know that youtube beauty gurus were obsessed with them as so am i.. so i decided to write just a short post about them.

they are:

THE REVLON LIPBUTTERS

you see i have a dry and chapped lips where i peel the skin most of the time and it bleeds sometimes so finding a lip products that has a good moisturizer level and color pigmentation is kinda hard but my worries are no longer there since i found these babies!

here is some snapshot of my collection *no i am not bragging, if you think i am showing off, kindly leave this blog* i do buy them in different colors because i love them and i thought it will be good also to write a review and show swatches for you guys if you want to consider buying them :)

the price: IDR 75k *this for sure i know*

so i owned colors in dark tone and light tone because i thought i can use them for formal events or just casual :) i love preparing everything so that when i have a sudden event, it became handy

here is how and what it looks like without the cap

and here are the swatches.

so.. i am going to write down why i love them and their flaws..

loves:
- moisturizer my chapped lis
- excellent pigmentation for a lipbalm and super moisturizer
- bank account friendly especially for the quality i am getting
- small and handy
- tight cap so it is safe to be put inside your bag
- the scent is not strong at all
- these products give flexibility if you want it light, or bold by layering it up or just apply a layer :)

flaws:
- the packaging itself is rather hard for me to open because we have to hold the bottom tiny part *in black color* and pull the cap

so hope i cover all and til next time!

dont forget to read the disclaimer :)

REVIEW- BOBBI BROWN BLUSH

hello gorgeous!

you see, another category of makeup that i love buying apart from lip products is blush!
i have this blush since i was in university and i love them, actually i love Bobbi Brown as a brand, since i like all things natural and although Bobbi Brown has a pretty bold color for certain products, the color is soft and gentle when they are applied onto your skin :)

so here i owned three of them in different colors, yes they may look similar but... i buy items that work on me :P

i love the packaging well i love packaging with transparent lid where i can see the color because it eases the process of color choosing on my daily basis. i also think the style and design of Bobbi Brown is simple natural and classy, i must say this palette is strong and has a good durability :)

the blush has a soft texture and easy to blend, i dont think it has any scent though. i forgot the name for each of this :P but... i LOVE every single color i have.. pink, glittery pink and slightly mauve :)

here are the swatches.. the color in the middle has some glitter and shimmer and you know i am not a big fan of glitter but when you apply it onto your face it gives this luminating and glow finish . i know the swatches arent visible onto my finger because it has a different skin tone as my face but the colors are there. Soft and neutral :) it looks even better on my face because the colors are visible, for a darker skin tone.. i am not sure about these colors but maybe if you go to Bobbi Brown you will find colors that are perfect for you

will i repurchase?
yes i will once these colors are finished!

conclusion:
if you are the type of girl who loves everything soft, neutral and gentle or maybe has a calm personality, this is right for you! a touch of colors on your cheeks for a daily basis :)
i love the colors from Bobbi Brown so of course these blush has my thumbs up and my liking. i also love the texture but more to the colors :)
