REVIEW: ACNES UV TINT

hola!

are you excited for this year?!?! 2013 baby! :D
well, alright... another new review on this uv tint.

Now, i have been looking for a tinted moisturizer but for some reason i havent found the one yet, so when i was hanging out with my friend she recommended me this one! She said it is good for the oily acne prone skin. I kinda doubt it but somehow i wanted to try it out :) so i bought it :)

Here is the packaging, it is actually pretty small, you need to twist the cap to open, and before you use it, you need to shake it and there is this "thing" inside that moves when you shake it, somehow it reminds me of a white-out/tip-ex haha :P

This is the swatch, when i apply it onto my face, it feel lightweight yet thick, confusing huh?
well the product itself is liquid-ish so it is easy to blend, no scent i think, i dont recall any horrible scent from it, then when you apply it onto your face, it absorbs quick but somehow it is thick like there is a moisturizer in it :)

as for the coverage, it has a poor coverage but hey! this is just a tint! :)
my acnes are still visible able i apply it. But the best thing about this product is how quickly it absorbs into the skin, and the lightweight feeling of it that make me feel isnt cakey and fresh :)

so here we go, lets see the process :)

9am- just the tint

as you can see my visible acne :(

with powder, slightly better  :)

at 11 am
matte going to dewy :)

2pm- oily :P

well, truthfully, this is expected because i have a very oily skin and this tint doesnt have good coverage well it is a tint :) but somehow i will use this :) i guess this is good for the skin because of the acne formula + spf it has :)

although it doesnt cover the acne up, a concealer will do + a powder :)

why do i stick to this even when i know it is poor coverage?
well apart from the spf + acne formula, i love the lightweight feeling, the soft texture and  i love how quick it absorb into the skin :) it also gives a slight tiny amount of coverage to the area that doesnt affected by acne :) and i have been looking for a tinted moisturizer and i guess this will do :)

as for the price..in Carrefour it was around RP42.000

ps: additional info, this product is actually waterproof :)

SARIAYU BEAUTY SPA - CREATE YOUR OWN SPA

Hello!

A little introduction from me :) I used to be a girl who hated skin care or body beauty routine. I used to think that they are a hassle of life :p

Well, I take my words back straight away on the day I was introduced to SPA. The very first SPA I went was Martha Tilaar SPA in Kelapa Gading *yes I was introduced by my mommy, she has a mission on making me loving my body more and she has succeeded* and of course, I did tried a few other places too. Long story short, let's just say, SPA is a must for me now, but we all know SPA can be very expensive *thats why I don't go SPA regularly as much as I would love to*

Whenever I go to SPA, I actually do look at the interior of the room, because I want to be able to relax and feel comfortable, well that is the whole main thing about SPA right? But nothing beats the comfort at your own home :)

.. and I found a competition held by Fashionede Daily & Sariayu so, I decided to challenge myself to see whether I can, or not,  to create a SPA of my dream at home :)

Without wasting any more time, I drove to the mall to search for the products :) and all of these pictures are bought and taken by me at home before starting the SPA

All of these only cost idr86! With a relaxing interior of the room and a tv on with a slight slow music playing at the background, I know this is going to be amazing! Oh I love scents that are floral so figure it out :D  I got all of these products mostly in floral range of scent and I love the smells from these products; floral, soft and elegant.

#1. BEAUTY ENERGIZING
I usually start with a beauty energizing ritual but for this post, I won't be taking picture because I look messy. This is a process that is done at the beginning to relax out body, mind and soul. Its function is to make our body relax so that the whole process of the SPA isn't rushed. Now we want to feel relax don't we? So rushing is a big no-no for a spa ;)

Now let's begin! I will take you step by step for this luxurious SPA treatment. First, if you have long hair, tied it up, if you have short hair then let it be.

Secondly, this is optional but I know the goodness from a beauty energizing because the steps are somehow similar to yoga.Pick a song that is relaxing and I suggest songs for yoga would be best :) This is done for us to prepare ourself to feel more relax and calm so that we enjoy 100% for our SPA treatment.

How to do a Beauty Energizing? simply just click and watch this video :)

#2 FOOT BATH

Once the beauty energizing is done, this is my own personal addition to spice up the SPA treatment :), take a bucket, fill it up with hot water * do measure it to your liking*  add some bath salt/soap or just leave it plain, then soak your feet in it. Now I call this a Foot bath and it is done to get rid of that horrible odour of the feet and of course it is a great cleanse to the feet too!

 #3 BODY SCRUBBING

Now, let the BODY SCRUB begin!  A Body scrub is one of the important beauty product for the skin. It smoothed and brighten up the skin and lift up the dead cells. I also believe that it get rids of the acne scars on the body and that is why I personally recommend body scrubbing for everyone! and this particular product from Sariayu gives a good moisturizing for the skin while you are scrubbing :)
Note: it is important for you to put some of the scrub onto a small plate because it Is unhygienic by dipping your fingers into the jar. We don't know what kind of germs or bacteria on your fingers.

Now, take the scrub and apply it all over your body equally and leave it for 5 minutes, you can play with your phone, or watch tv or listen to music :)

Then, massage lightly in a circular motion until the whole scrub turns into small round lumps, and those small round lumps my friends, are the dirt and the dead skin cells. Once everything is settle, rinse your body.

I personally advice for you to do body scrubbing at least once a week :) and my personal favorite body scrub is Eksotika Tanjung. I already love the name! The scrub is moisturizing, brittle that is perfect for scrubbing and it brightens up my skin!

#4 BODY MASSAGE

A SPA won't be perfect without a BODY MASSAGE. Oh yes I know having someone massage you is better than you massaging yourself but it doesn't mean you can't enjoy it!
A body massage is important in the process of spa, it relaxes our body, mind and soul, it makes the blood circulation in our body spread out evenly.

How to give ourselves body massage?
Spread Minyak Zaitun to your hand, fingers and wrist, then give it a circular motion of massages three times each in a calm and steady moves.
Then apply it to the legs, feet, neck, shoulder and on the temples of your face. Again with the same steady and slow circular motion, do it three times on each area. This lotion absorb into the skin and it took me by surprise that it doesn't leave an oily residue! i love it :) i think when an oil absorb into the skin, it will increase the level of moisturizing in it.

#5 BODY BATH

Then, a body bath is needed to give a total cleanse for the whole body from the left over dirt from the scrub and of course to give your body a fresh and energizing feeling.

This process is the same as how you take bath daily, water the soap, leather it up on your palms until foams appear, then apply it all over the body. If you have a bath tub, you can take a long hot bath and relax for 10 minutes. This soap bar just have a gorgeous scent! One of the many reasons why i love Sariayu products is because they stick to the tradition and actually preserve the tradition through their products :)

#6 BODY LOTION

Once the bath is done, a lotion is a must after body scrubbing. Body lotion's jobs for the skin are to give nutrients, to moistures and to give a good scent for the body . Place small dots all over your body and spread it well.
This lotion absorb into the skin quick and it isn't that sticky or thick and i personally prefer this type of lotion because i hate having myself to run errands the whole day feeling sticky and oily. Let's not forget the floral scent that i love :)

#7 BODY SPLASH COLOGNE

This step is optional, but a good scented splash cologne will boost the energy after a SPA and of course to give every girl a boost to their confident. Simply pour some onto the palm, pressed it behind the ears, neck, chest and elbow.

And now, you are ready to tackle the world! :D

There are times when i wonder...Why do I love having my own luxurious SPA at home?

Here are the reasons:
- I love how I don't have to make phone bookings :p so I can just have SPA anytime!
- I love how I can slurp some refreshing drinks, watch tv and listen to music at the same time I am having my own spa *talk about multi function eh? :p *
- saves a lot of money! All of these products cost 86rb while if I go to a real spa, a minimum charge is 250rb
- I have this tendency of being sleepy after a spa *i guess it is because of the relaxation that I recieved* and I hate it when I have to drive home but if I do spa at home, I can be on my bed straight away!

So in conclusion, i love it because it is practical and easy to do, not forgetting saves up alot of money with the same result as going to a SPA place :)

Well I hope my tips and guides help you in having a luxurious SPA at home :) but if you want to know more, simply contact Sariayu at their FB fan page: Sariayu Martha Tilaar (www.facebook.com/sariayu.mt) or

REVIEW: ZA SKIN BEAUTY LIQUID FOUNDATION

It is.. 6.45pm, i am currently waiting for dinner while watching "Brave" hehe and i decided to say..

Hellllloooooo!

This is my 2nd item that i purchased from ZA :)

the price... errr... around RP 98000

okay you all know how bad my memory when it comes to numbers, sowwie :'(

anyhoo

the packaging, i actually love it! i dont know why.. probably because of the pink silvery metallic cap, and the small size of this foundation and oh! the color of the fonts matches the cap haha
I personally think it looks cute and classy :)

Here is the cap, you gotta twist it to open it :)
and the tube has another cover with a tiny hole that allows the foundation come out to be use.
Again, you all know how i love these type of packaging, clean and control-able :) and isnt that hard to squeeze to get the product out but you do have to shake it well before using so that all the foundation is mix inside :)

here is the swatch :)
the texture of this foundation is watery but not super watery though but for a liquid foundation, it is watery. It has a soft and girly scent that i like, although it is watery, the texture is also creamy when you blend it onto your face :) it blends in well too! and dries fast ;D and lightweight hehe
It has a good coverage, i would say, medium-high coverage :)

so another test out day :D
12.00 pm going out with my friend :)
matte and good coverage

14.00 pm
my skin is actually starting to get oily from dewy look here

16.00 pm
home! and oily :(

conclusion:
- soft texture between watery and creamy
- good coverage
- great scent
- lightweight
- dries quick
- easy to blend
-cute packaging

the downside is just the oil control :(

will i repurchase?
- now this is a 50-50 product, i wont buy it again because of the oil control but i actually love it on how it feels on my skin, lightweight, good coverage and the easy to blend quality it has :P

so will you buy this?

2012 FAVORITES & HAPPY NEW YEAR

Oh well well well..

looks like we survived 2012 eh?

:P

sorry, i just have to said that!

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2013

alright.. so new year, new you and new resolution!
and we are so ready to say goodbye to the last year :)

to start this new year of 2013.. i decided to create this 2012 favorites post where it is all about my almost 6months up to a year products that i have been loving, that i know it works well on my skin and they are just perfect for me :P

Let us start with a skincare :)

I personally have been loving them for my skincare routine :)
If i have my makeup on, i remove them with Biore cleansing wipes, why? well with this product we dont have to rub and stretch our skin just to get that makeup off, because by doing that you are making yourself more wrinkle-y :P *no i am not joking* This product is very easy to use and so easy to remove the make up with literally just one wipe!

For the cleansing milk, facial foam & toner, i do have a sensitive skin and most of these types of products i have tried either have this burning feeling on my skin or make my skin became super tight and i dont like it but these three products are different :)
The lift up my dirt/left over makeup, cleanse my face and the toner * i usually have problems with toner ALL THE TIME* just doesnt irritate my skin at all ;D

I know i have tried a few moisturizer but, these two moisturizers for day and night are the FIRST moisturizer i hit pan :D
I actually can spot a different by using these products, i feel my skin is more glowing and radiating :)
* no i am not being extreme*

so now we are moving into make up :)

Foundation- i have been loving and using Revlon colorstay and mainly, this is the first product that stay matte on my face almost a whole day without having me blotting :) this is totally the dupe for MAC Studio Fix :)

BB Cream- Missha matte bb cream, i know i always bragging about Lioele but for some reason, i did used this bb cream through out this year, i have no idea why, i guess it is because of the matte finishing it gives :) and i also i dont want to waste it hehe

Eye primer- that would be my NYX eyeshadow base, although this eye primer isnt as good as the others i have tried before but i did use this one through out this year, basically, almost every single time i went out and it is still full :) not saying that this doesnt have a good staying power, it does but compare to others, it doesnt :) but it is still useful.

Eyeshadow- that would be my REVLON duo color palette eyeshadow, i love neutral colors for the eyes and that means either dark colors or browns but most of the time, i wore brown :) and these two are the palette i pick all the time, i guess i love it because the brown color is so natural.

Eyebrow- all time fave! Skinfood! the color just perfect and it is in a eyeshadow form so it doesnt make a harsh shape on my face :)

Lipstick- it is SARIAYU 01 (Denting Kecapi), the pink color just GORGEOUS! enough said and of course superb quality of Long lasting and high pigmentation!

Blush- i know i dont show this much on my post but i have been using this cream blush on from bobbi brown and i wore it whenever i travel hehee. The pigmentation isnt that high but you can build it up and the best *this is for normal and dry skin i think* it leaves a dewy glowy finish :)

Lastly, the body products :)

I love my deodorant, LADY SPEED STICK, it isnt sticky, smells great and doesnt leave any white residue :)

Perfumes: as much as i think Miss Dior Cherie's scent doesnt last long but i did however use it all the time haha :P i guess i dont want the product goes to waste but it also has a soft and great sent, girly & playful. I also love YSL Parisienne, all time fave! it smells so mature and sexy yet girl :)

so tell me, what is your 2012 favorites?
