REVIEW: SKIN FOOD PEACH SAKE BB CREAM #1

 hello!
welcome to my blog!
one new review about this bb cream that i used from time to time :)

it is the SKIN FOOD PEACH SAKE BB CREAM

Packaging:
I love the packaging, it is so cute and i am a sucker for anything wood-y :)
it is easy to open too :) no hassle for the packaging even the pump is easy for me to control the
amount of bb cream :)
the packaging is in soft pink, what more can i say other than L.O.V.E

Price:
i believe it was around RP 135.000?

i got the color in #1 the fairest tone :)
it is.. beige with a pink mix yellow undertone.
well that probably confuse you, so i will let the picture speaks the color :D

here it is on my hand :D

the texture of this bb cream is lightweight and it blends it well onto the face especially when it contains SPF 20 :) which usually leaves the skin oily and has a thick texture

BUT

i hate the scent! well it is a sake so maybe it has a stronger level of alcohol? or maybe they added the alcohol scent? i dont know but it is way too strong for me so thats why i mention, i used this bb cream
from time to time :P

so lets see... the experiment :D

that is meeeee
getting ready at 11am

and.. the place that i went to doesnt have a good lighting so i waited until i am back at home
and here is my face at 10pm :) almost 12 hours and my skin is oily but for this oil level right here, it is still normal for me...  i can get worse. I think it has a... low to medium oil control, i could blot my face once with a blotting sheet though :P

conclusion:

+ lightweight
+ easy to blend
+ i love the undertone color and this doesnt make my face too white
+ the cute and natural packaging
+ Price isnt so bad :)
+ it has spf
+ low to medium oil control

- the smell!

will i repurchased?
nope because of the scent

so tell me what you think?
have you ever tried this product?

REVIEW: NYX HD STUDIO PHOTOGENIC FOUNDATION

hello my sweet tarts!
welcome to my blog!
today i will do a review of another liquid foundation that is called:
NYX HD STUDIO PHOTOGENIC FOUNDATION

so HD eh? here is a little story, i tried this one out when i had a makeup class with NYX but with that makeup class i have basically every single products on my face and i think that isnt a valid research for me :( why?
- they put a primer on me and i dont think the primer is any good
- they added mineral powder and compact powder on me

but mainly the primer, compare with my daily makeup, i dont use primer, i only use it when i have like evening events :P i dont know why haha

so.. finally i bought this foundation!
so lets see the price.. was around IDR 290000? again sorry i cant remember the price :(
the packaging, plastic-y which i dont really like, rather small for the price, i love it has the pump though, easier for me to control the amount of foundation i need to use.
the scent, i dont recall it has any scent i mean i am not bother with it so yeah the scent should be fine :D

here is the swatch:
the texture is lightweight but somehow creamy slightly, for me it is slightly hard to blend onto my face or maybe i used a wrong brush? but that doesnt bother me because it will blend in anyway :)

as you can see from the picture below it is slightly creamy.

so lets see how long it last on my face!
here is my picture at 12pm, straight away after i applied it :D
matte! as always

2pm, my skin became dewy. so far so good

at 4pm, starting to get oily around the T-Zone especially on my nose and cheeks

5pm, getting more oily now almost everywhere!

conclusion:
well for a HD foundation, this isnt HD for me, well... who am i to blame other than my own skin haha but trust me there are other foundation that last long on my skin without primer but not this one.
Nevertheless, a whole good 4 hours without being super oily is good enough.

i dont have a problem with the texture that is lightweight and the scent.
i do however not a big fan of the packaging where it feels plastic-y and of course the price knowing the real price of NYX isnt that expensive :P

will i repurchase?
nope not because this is a bad product, i dont think it is but i know there are other foundation that last longer on my skin condition :) so if your skin is normal you can give this a go! as for dry skin, do a deep research first! :) if you have a normal level of oil on your face this MIGHT work :)

til next time!

REVIEW: REVLON COLORBURST LIPSTICK

hello i am back with another REVLON LIPSTICK REVIEW
this time is is about:

REVLON COLORBURST LIPSTICK

The price was around IDR 95K

so lets talk about the packaging, for drugstore products, the packaging is quite fancy and classy. i love the cross hatch pattern on the cover :)
The cover open as how normal lipstick would open so it is easy, not a big hassle and practical

somehow with their handle like this, i found this lipstick is very nice to hold and it is just comfortable to apply.

Here are the colors that i owned, it is very simple to see which products are my fave, if i have alot of colors, it means that i love them but if i only have 2 or 1.. they are my least fave haha

a close up look at the lipstick and the color

here are the names

and the swatches

conclusion:
for a drugstore products, although in here we dont really see that as drugstore, it is quite high-class and classy. i can say that it is almost close to the high end products! for the price, it is totally worth the price!
The color pigmentation is superb and vibrant, on the swatches it is taken with one swipe only but of course the name of these range is color burst, kinda expected for the color to be "bursting" out!
I feel that these colors from the color burst collection are somehow similar to mac or i can say dupes! even the formula is somewhat excellent with their moisturizer and the quality it is given :)

will i repurchase?
yes i will but i think i have enough hehe

REVIEW- REVLON POWDER BLUSHES

knock knock
whos there?
your..
your who?
your beautiful

alright, i dont and i never will get the knock knock joke, any of you find it funny? :P

hello cutey!
we meet again to another review post. In this very post i will be reviewing blush-on from Revlon.. A little story about this.. i went a little ballistic and mad buying Revlon Blush on.. hahaha so i own 7 of these blushes. I guess these blush on were my very first proper blush on that i owned? i forgot .. or was it because the first brand that i found it very.. bank account or wallet friendly? i dont know.. but i did buy these 7 items...

Palette wise... hmm normal, not loving it yet not hating it, just normal *confused? haha* well i like it because it has a transparent view where i can see the color, and of course the black and white writings and palette make this more.. mature haha but somehow, they are not pulling it off. Okay nevermind the the palette.. as long as the product inside is good that is what it counts right?

so i am going to how you a closer look of the color

the swatches... scroll down for my opinion

so my opinion...

- pigmentation: POOR, i had to keep on swiping my fingers to get the color visible for the camera to capture and i dont think that is a good thing for a product haha and even when i capture it, the color isnt still there :(
- texture: HARD and Not really powdery
- scent: dont think i can smell any
- packaging: alright, normal and easy to open, comes with the brush
- price: IDR 85k - ish.. and for this kinda price, it is not worth it because there are more better blush-on with a lower price :)

will i repurchase?
nope! and i am saying this with a heavy heart knowing i love REVLON so much!

a little advice, if you are the type of person who doesnt mind layering blush on up and doesnt mind taking time to get ready, i guess these products are okay for you but since i am very impatient and i love everything handy and practical so by keep on layering it this , i see it as a waste of time while i can save up time for a better blush with one easy swipe and blend :) so everything is back onto the person individually actually :P

REVIEW: MAX FACTOR MASTER TOUCH UNDER EYE CONCEALER

hellooooo!

Alright, another confession, i think i am lucky enough i dont have under eye bag when i dont have enough sleep and trust me, i barely have enough sleep due to designing hehe but i do have puffy eyes though :P

Anyway, i bought this concealer because... i dont really know, Max Factor has this sale buy 3 get 1 free so i decided why not just get items that i dont own before and one of them is this concealer :)

so... this isnt a stick concealer that i usually use, this concealer is in a form of a twisted packaging. I am particularly not a big fan of this type where you have to twist to get the product out.

This is how the cap looks like, twist it, and the product will appear in the middle of the white applicator and you just apply it :)

i got this in shade Fair.

here is the swatch.
The texture is creamy but dries quick enough on the skin.
Easy to blend :)
Lightweight and no perfume scent or any scent at all :)

excuse the mess on my hair and eyebrow hehe

so here i am trying out this concealer, although i dont have under eye bag but i think you still can tell a different with and without the concealer.

and my conclusion is, it has a low-medium coverage on me, i dont see any big different and in fact, i kinda felt that the dark under eye is still visible :( and knowing this product has a thick consistency.

well, what do you think?
have you try this before?

ps: i tried it out on my pimples but still, poor coverage.

I have a few items that i am selling :D

REVIEW- TONY MOLY BLUSH ON

HEWWWOOOOO!

welcome to my review of Tony Moly blushes!
weird color you say? i think so too! and yet i am the one who bough them haha why did i buy them? i dont even know... well okay.. the brown one is for contouring while the light purple... for blush but it doesnt really show on my skin haha but this is my fault for buying the color.

so, i think this is my first time doing a review for a Korean brand? well you know i barely buy them because of the color pigmentation but with Tony Moly it is slightly different :P

i love their palette, so clear, so clean and so.. easy to find :D
To open it simply open it like other compact packaging and it doesnt come with a box packaging.
The down side, it doesn't come with a brush :P but i do love the size the blush-on though, pretty big and filled up the whole lid :D

But i do admit that the packaging isnt that cute compare to other Korean brand products :P One good thing about Korean cosmetics are their packaging.

the price.. is IDR 89k from Taman Anggrek mall, i think you can find a cheaper price if you search through online :)

Here are the swatches, i loveeeee the pigmentation, for the price they have a good pigmentation. The texture is soft and silky so you dont have to layer it up. It doesnt have any scent, i dont think so.
i should have bought other colors that i know it will shown onto my skin.. hahah but the light purple doesnt really show on my skin while the brown one.. as a contouring.. doesnt really work either :P

Probably the brown one can be used as a blusher :D

Aside from the wrong color choice that i made by myself, the coverage is quite good and it blends easily :) and i think this is probably the first korean brand that attracted me to buy the other products.

i just havent found the right way of using this but i know that these are good products that are worth to try :) and this product will work best if you have a super fair white skin ;D

will i repurchase?
yes of course in another different color

REVIEW: REVLON MATTE LIPSTICK

i am starting to think i go a little over board with revlon hahah
well REVLON, you have hit your cupid arrow into my heart !

howdy girlies!
another matte lipstick review! wheeee*

ok i am going to start by saying, i dont really like the packaging, too simple but again i dont see that is a problem haha
anddddddddd...

i forgot the price... because i bought them a very long time ago haha SOWWY

but here is a few pictures for you to see..

the colors

the swatches

the conclusion:
- when they say MATTE, they give MATTE! so no moisturizer in it and that how a brand should work.. stick to what the name says
- i personally think this has a good color pigmentation because as you can see from the swatch the colors are visible
- i know for a fact that the price is also wallet friendly so this item is totally worth it!

the downside?
- i guess just the packaging wise

x
