REVIEW: ETUDE HOUSE SHINI STAR BB CREAM

I love surprises, it can be from friends, family or love. When i say surprises i mean like classy elegant and neat surprises not messy ones :P

Surprises can come in an unexpected event like.. today!
Well i am meant to do a review but the result is unexpected :P

do read the warning first :)

today's review is about this bb cream from Etude, called Shini Star.
Like other bb cream, i didnt expect alot since, bb cream has spf and my skin is very oily, so spf + oily skin = disaster & blotting paper in ready!

so not expecting alot, there i was getting ready to go to my dad's office and i decided to give this bb cream a go :)

the packaging:
cuteness! i love the color combination.. mint & pink!
the tube is rather small for me actually and the pump is somehow cant really pump ?
the price was around RP 298.000 ish? but i got it on sale for RP 100.000 :P talk about superb bargain !
the scent, cant really recall if there is any scent but it does, i think it is a sweet scent that doesnt bother me :D

it comes in only one shade though so that is the down part but luckily, the color suits well onto my skin!
surprise! i think it has some grey undertone that when i apply it, it blends well with my skin tone, i always thought bb cream that has a grey undertone is the best to match the skin :)

when i apply it on my face, it feel super lightweight! like airy!
and it became powder-ish as soon as it touches your skin! so it blends it well and soft! of course leaving a matte finish on my skin but again all bb cream/foundation do that when you just finish applying it.

so here i am.. getting ready at 11 am and yes i use flash to show you how matte my skin is!

then this is at 3pm.. it is still normal! with only 10% of oil on my nose

then 5pm starting to get 40% oily but it is still alright for me *believe me, usually by this hour my skin become very oily*

then at 7pm, now! my skin started to get oily, STARTED! and this is a good thing because usually by this hour my skin will look like a greasy ball! like a ball being put into oil and lift up straight away that's how bad my skin is when it comes to oil!

so conclusion:
+ works well on my skin i can say good oil control
+ no scent/ slightly good scent
+ grey undertone = blends well with the skin tone
+ cute packaging haha

- tiny tube
- pump that hardly pump
- price is slightly expensive for the volume

will i repurchase?
yes i will! well hopefully they are still on sale! hihi

I am selling this product (new one of course, i bought 3 haha letting go one of them)

REVIEW: VIVA COVERING CREAM NATURAL & VIVA QUEEN FACE POWDER DE LUXE #NATURAL (SPONSORED)

Oh my petite muses!
*kisses and hugs*
muaks!

Hello there!
I have another sponsored product and review :)
No worries, i tried them out and i am honest with my words.

Another product that i am reviewing is actually the products that i have been eyeing for so long but didnt buy them because i am so afraid it will make my skin break out.

These products are from Viva
to see their products, and to buy simply click on the website.

First, let me talk about the VIVA COVERING CREAM (NATURAL)

When i saw this outside, i was thinking, what is the usage for this?
Then, i walked away and ignoring my thoughts :P as usual.

So, when i received this, i read the information on the product and the booklet.
Basically, this works as a foundation, makeup base and concealer ;)
*well this is my own interpretation*

Here is the packaging, it is quite small and it comes in a jar,
honestly, i never owned any makeup base/foundation in this type of packaging.

I think it is cute but it is very simple in terms of design.
It has the logo embossed on top.

But sadly, the name label of the product is super plain.

At the back of the product, it has the sticker contain the name, the ingredients, the usage, the expiry date and the company :) incase you might need them.

The usage:
- Makeup Base that covers spots and waterproof making the makeup look perfect. The way to use this cream is to apply it as a foundation.

To open this, simply twist the cap.

The color swatch:

Now, i am not sure on how many shades this is available in, but whenever i saw this, it comes only with one shade so i am assuming it has only one color.

The texture is thick and creamy! like super thick and when i touch it, i was thinking
" Oh dear! it will make my skin cakey and thick and oily!" but then... when i applied it onto my face,
Holy moly! it turned powdery quick, settled into the skin finely and it covers spots! The best thing about this is, it doesnt leave any oily or shiny finishing instead it gives off a matte finishing (knowing the texture is thick and creamy) how awesome!?

The color, again when i saw the color i was like " errr its gonna make my skin looks so dark!"
i was wrong *again* because as soon as it settled into the skin, it blends in with the skin color leaving such a natural look.

It has a good coverage, it is lightweight and seriously, it is like your skin!

As for the scent, i am not a big fan of it :( too strong and too powdery.

Now lets see the powder :)
This is a loose powder.

The box is similar as the other Viva Queen boxes, a soft yellow with gold color combination.
The product packaging is round just like any other loose powder packaging, with the name and logo on top :)

At the back of the packaging, it has the expiry date, name, ingredients and other important information.

When i took out everything, this is what i received.
It comes with the puff and the plastic cap.
The powder is sealed with a plastic so it wont spilled out but you do need to use something to tear it.

This is the swatch, it is in Natural color.
The texture is soft and velvety so when i applied it onto my face, it settled into the skin quickly and nicely :) just like the covering cream. The color is somehow too dark on me :P
The coverage is great and it is lightweight.

and the usage of the plastic cap! ;D smart!

Lets see how it looks on me, and.. how long it lasted!

As the first layer is applied, it actually covered 90% of my spots

but then i added another layer to make sure everything is hidden :P

lets see how long it lasts

As you can see, after 4 hours, my skin started to get dewy and it gets oily on my nose within 3 hours.
So i assume that, it can last longer with only one oil blotting paper needed to touch ;)

have you ever try this?

REVIEW: ARTDECO LIPSTICK #33

Hello :)

ART DECO Lipstick :)
dont kill me for another lipstick review please :*

Price:
RP 78.000
(this is after the discount)

Okay, without further ado, lets jump into it!

The packaging:
well when i purchased this, it comes with the product only, no outer box.
The product itself has a super simple packaging. Sleek and clean i must say :)
The material is sturdy and not made of plastic, so when you do a little tap, you can hear and tell that it has a good expensive material. The packaging is easy to open.

The swatch:
The first thing i realised about this product is the moisturizer it contains and the color pigmentation.
It has a good and high level of moisturizer that is perfect for my chapped lips. The color pigmentation is super! it blends in well into my lips and leaving such a nice texture on it :) I also believe this has a good coverage because i didnt need to apply a few layer to make the color visible.

The downside is, the brand doesnt carry alot of colors variety :( so found it hard to find that perfect pink lipstick :(

This is what it looks like on my lips :) sweet and natural.

Conclusion:
-good moisturizer
- good color pigmentation
- soft and creamy texture
- good blending ability :)
- but, less color choices :(

REVIEW: MISSHA BB CREAM (MATTE)

Bonjour!
another day, another review, thats how crazy i am with beauty product especially makeup :P
I owned this bb cream for a very long time, this was the second bb cream i purchased :P

It is Missha but.. i dont know the full name for this bb cream and it doesnt says on the tube itself :(
so i am going to call it Missha BB Cream (matte)

The Price:
i think if was around RP 300.000 ish? well round it up :P

The packaging:
The tube is alright, i love it when i can squeezed it because i can control the amount that i need :)
I love the silver look because it makes this look clean and posh.
It has a little introduction of the product in front which is useful for me :)

The BB Cream:
- it has this soft powdery scent that i love :)
- the texture of this bb cream is different compare to my other bb cream, this bb cream has the "thickest" texture and less liquid-y
- the color is slightly lighter than a skintone/beige so when applies to the face, it makes my face lighter but that is not a problem for me :)
- it feels it is heavy for the cream itself but when apply equally all over the face it feels lightweight.
- it has a good and high coverage where it managed to cover and hide my huge red pimple * this is why i dont use concealer alot*

a little experiment where i get ready for a day out :)

conclusion:
- my face only started to get oily after a whole good 7 hours *woohoo*
- love the scent
- love the texture that is lightweight on my face
-i love the thick texture on the bb cream that gives a good and high coverage.
- Price wise, slightly expensive but worth every penny for the quality :)

will i repurchased?
- i would but i think i prefer to spend that amount for a new foundation and nope i am not saying this product is bad, it is REALLY GOOD :)

x
til next time :*
