MUSES HALLOWEEN SERIES: SCARY CLOWN

hello hello!
Welcome to my halloween makeup series look ;)
Todays look is a scary clown!

But first, I apologize if I dont look "finish" as I cant get any clown wig.
I hope you still can recreate from this tutorial ;)

oh and this is inspired from
Klairedelysart :*

Lets begin!

Use a lip liner and create "crack" on the nose down the lips towards the chin.

Use a white foundation, apply it all over the face.

Take a lip brush, brushed it over the lip liner,

Then in a motion of "left to right" blend the "crack" and around the lips to give
a bloody dried effects.

Use a black eyeshadow, creates lines all over your face.

Keep on applying and blending.

Keep on adding the black color and blend them until you are satisfy.

With your fingers, apply a red blush or eyeshadow on your cheeks *apple part*
and make sure it is rather messy.

With an eyeliner, create a small line on some of the facial line.

Using a flat brush, blend them.

Add a black eyeshadow and dab it onto the inner of your lips.

Use the lip liner again, and stretch the mouth line towards the cheeks on both sides.

Use the same lip brush and blend them messy.

Dont forget to add that black eyeshadow to give a 3D effects ;)

Add some clown wig and you are done!

let me know what other look I should do next!

MUSES HALLOWEEN SERIES: 1920'S FLAPPER!

Welcome my dear to another vintage halloween look :P
I love vintage. This style has a soft spot in my heart.

So, i know i created this look before but this time,
I am going all the way with the failed hairstyle :P

I never... do any hair styling before... so this is a first for me.

This was inspired by the Great Gatsby movie.
I love the costume, the makeup, the setting, and the story!

So i decided to recreate this look, easy one of course :P
With the gorgeous classy pearl, dark colored lipstick, curly vintage hairstyle, dark eyeshadow, shaped eyebrows, you name it! I love them.

Hope this inspire you for this halloween!

Oh and if any of you want me to do this on a video let me know ;)
more pictures are coming because  I am practicing until my skill is semi perfecto!
Stay tuned!

and i am open for any collab ;) let me know through email:

MAKEUP COLLABORATION "FIRST DATE" LOOK - GOTHIC

Hello!
Welcome to my blog to you new readers :*

I have this special collaboration with a few gorgeous beauty blogger ;)

The theme of this makeup collab is:
The first date look.

Do you remember your first date?
How did it go?
It went bad for me hahah
as I was still young and knew nothing hahahaha

The theme that I choose was gothic
but I made it more like 'me'

DAY LOOK

For the day look, I prefer to keep it casual and simple.
I just played with the eye makeup & pale color lips.
I combined this look with a simple up do and a simple stud black rose earring.
*yes although i dont really like accessories, i love earrings*

NIGHT LOOK
For the night look, I have two choices.
Dark Purple and Red lipstick combined with a black smokey eye look.
Instead of wearing a black earring, I decided to go for a dark blue ones.
The design of the earring is somehow vintage and romantic.

REVIEW: DR JART V7 BEAUTY BALM

Aloha Muses!

A few weeks back, I attend DR. Jart event but sadly, I lost the pictures.
To make it up for it, I have a review on this V7 BB Cream, given to us from the events.

I have tried a lot of BB cream but.. only two brands work well on my skin.
Lets see this one shall we? ;)

The packaging, I love the designs on them.
Simple, professional and it gives this impression of a good aesthetic clinic.

It has the summary of the function that this cream will do onto your skin.

and... at the back it has all the main and important information such as:
ingredients, advantages and how-to.

Which is useful for beginner.

It has a tiny opening at the end of the packaging. The tiny opening allowing me to control the amount of BB cream that I need. With BB Cream, you only need a tiny pea size. You can always added them more if you need them to be more coverage but as for me, a tiny pea size will do :) otherwise, it will look cakey on me.

The way I apply this varies on my mood haha :P
There are times when I feel like using my finger, but there are times when I feel like using brushes.
The first thing I realized from the cream is the color, it has a grey undertone but somehow it has a beige skintone color.  I personally think it looks whiter on me but no worries!
A good correct color of powder will settled your face.

I also realized the scent, it has this slight powdery scent yet slight "medicine" kinda scent.
It is like, you are using a product from a dermatologist, good and accurate haha :P
It is easy to blend and it feels light on my face.

This is how it looks like before and after.

With one layer, it covers most of my acne and scarring.
Leaving my skin smoother.

Now, the big question!
Will it last well on my skin and have a good oil-control?

Here is me at 12pm and my daily activities are usually:
Designing in the morning until noon, buy lunch outside for my mom and brother and then off to my dad's office then home.

We all know how hot and humid it is in JKT right?

and this is me at 4pm :)
Honestly, a good 4 hours without turning into an oil company haha on my skin is good enough!
In this 4 hours, my skin looks dewy starting to get oily slightly except on the nose.

So far, I am happy and amazed that this product has a good oil control.
Long lasting and it sticks to my face even when my skin gets oily.
