REVIEW: SAMPAR GLAMOUR SHOT MATTE PERFECTION

I think I have been obsessing over primers and products that are mattifying for my skin :P

As you all know I have a very oily skin especially on the T-Zone area. 

If it is possible for me to open an oil industry I would haha

Alright, I have the opportunity to try out the Sampar Glamour Shot Matte Perfection.

From the name of the product, it is obvious that its aim is to give a matte look.

Who has heard of Sampar before?

What is the SAMPAR GLAMOUR SHOT MATTE PERFECTION?

it is a transparent mattifying concealer!

It has the strength to mattify the skin up to 6 hours, non stop and no touch up needed! But of course this applies differently to people.

It also helps to balance sebum secretion for perfect control of unwanted shine over time.

It covers the pores and unify the complexion.

This product has a ground breaking technology!

1. HQA microlens, ultra mattifying new generation soft focus, reflects light homogeneously that gives a glowing and healthy complexion.

2. Lentil extract that are rich in oligosaccharides that slows down the sebum that lead to shine control and tighten pores and smooth skin surface.

3. Horse Chestnut extract, it is the source of escine, a natural venotonic astringent that attenuate redness and tightens pores.

Here it is how it looks like. The product has a watery kind of texture. It has this distinct scent but it doesnt bother me. 

Now I am going to show you how it looks like on my skin.

First of all, I personally found that even the texture is watery, it is rather hard for me to blend into my skin. It takes a few moments to make sure the product in blend into my skin, settled in nicely and even out correctly on the texture. This product I used only to covers my pored and to even out my complexion. Once this product is apply, you can apply directly with powder but I always apply foundation :P 

I love how smooth and velvety my skin feels after applying this. 

How to use this product?

- Apply this product to the areas that you needed, or to the whole face if you wish after a moisturizer.

Here is my face before, you can see the pores, redness and uneven texture.

You can tell that the size of the pores are smaller.

Then I applied a foundation.

You can see straightaway the difference between with and without.

The one with the product has a more even texture and smaller pores.

REVIEW: BIODERMA SEBIUM PORE REFINER

A new range from Bioderma *excited* is coming to town or maybe it is already here?

I will let you know on that *follow my social media, will announce if it is available already or not*

This is one product that EVERY OILY SKIN person need.

I myself is one of these people, I realized that i have big pores. There are a lot of factors that caused oily skin such as hormonal, diet, pollution and genetics. All of these will caused the enlarging size of pores that leads to the excess produce of sebum. 

Usually, it is on the T-Zone area. They tend to get oily faster than other area on the face. Big pores give an uneven texture on skin and when we reached our 40s, it will "go with the gravity" and turn into a more longer and oval-ish shape because the decreasing level of elasticity on our skin. 

To help with the appearance of big pores, people tend to put makeup to cover it or perhaps some people will apply products that will block the pores. If this happens, the skin itself will try to pump out the products out and that will make the pores even bigger and worse, a cracked makeup look.

Once the pores are bigger, then it will "welcome" the arrival of bacteria and I am sure we dont want that right?

Now, there is a solution to this problem from Bioderma.

Sebium Pore Refiner range are produced specially for oily skin with big pores.

It has 2 double action that ensure to give us a cleaner and healthier pores. 

It contains astringent that can decrease the size of the pores and lessen the excessive sebum production.

Now how to use this?

Easy! 

Apply this in the morning or night as a moisturizer. As for me, I only apply it where i need it most.

The texture of this product is lightweight and that is important for me. I really dislike the thick and cake-y feeling on my skin. It feels non-silicon which i prefer. You dont need to apply a lot just a tiny pea size for the whole face. 

As for the scent, I forgot but I am sure the scent didnt bother me at all.

Once you blend into the skin, it settles really quick and dries quickly.

I prefer products like this because i hate waiting but you gotta be smart by applying one area by one area to prevent the product drying up.

I use this as a primer really. So lets see how it makes my skin look like ;)

Dont get shock because I have no makeup on at all!

I personally think it covers my pores and it doesnt make my pores as visible as before.

I can, however, add more but I dont want to.

If you observe closely, the ones wearing Sebium Pore Refiner has a better texture compare to the one without. Again, I could add more layer but I dont want to :P
