REVIEW: WET N WILD COLOR ICON EYESHADOW #PETAL PUSHER

Hellow lah-dies :P

alright alright, so i was doubting which items to purchase but i decides to purchase this one :)
i got mine from Zalora, it comes in a package :)

The price:
RP 149.000

OR

RP 307.000

The packaging:
Please dont think i am weird, i actually found this packaging is cute and unique, it isnt small yet it isnt big :P  I love the transparent lid where it allows me to see the color and i know some of my friends think that this kind of packaging is lame but i personally prefer it this way :D I love how each eyeshadow is embossed with its own function so if you are a beginner and arent sure how to apply eyeshadow, purchase these collection and you are ready to be a makeup artist :P

The color swatch:
Honestly, the colors are as pigmented as i expect them to be because i owned other eyeshadows that are superb in their color pigmentation. I personally think the color doesnt show as bold as the ones in the palette. The texture is soft but not velvety therefore the coverage is medium but you can always layer it up ;) The blending ability is medium because of the texture and the pigmentation, i need to be a little bit more patience in making it blend-able.

How it looks on my eyes:
I love the colors on the right side of the palette, a slightly darker color range from the other one because it is visible on my skin and it does make my eyes look bigger :D
But i dont like the other color range on the left side of the palette, it barely shows on me.

Conclusion:
- love the packaging
- love the color choices
- love the embossing of its function on the eyeshadows
- alright with the texture
- alright with the coverage as layering will make the color more vibrant
- alright with the pigmentation as layering will help the color to be visible

REVIEW: LA TULIPE MATTE LIPSTICK #212

Today i will be doing a new review on this lipstick :D
You know me and my red lipstick!

The price:
RP 47.000
( i personally think this is expensive)

The packaging:
Actually, the packaging itself isnt bad. Silver tones :)
Classy and elegant.
Just like other lipstick, take the cap off and twist the body to be able to use the lipstick

As for the box, it contains informations which is good. I love when a product provides information.

The swatch:

As the picture above showing you how dark and red the lipstick is, i could say the color on the lipstick itself is almost going to be a vampy red, but the picture of the swatch below doesnt reflect it at all :P
On the first layer, well i kinda expected it would be bold and dark but, it is sheer. Then i added two more layers where it still doesnt get as dark as the lipstick itself :(

The texture is matte but it is easy to apply and blend on the lips :) it doesnt have any shimmer in it and somehow i feel a slight creamy on the texture.

As for the scent it has the oldies typical scent of a lipstick :)

How it looks on me:
As i said, it didnt turn out as i expect it would :P i kinda expect it to look dark and vampy
but it turned out sheer :P

Conclusion:
- love the packaging
- love the texture because it stays true when it says matte
- dislike the scent
- dislike the color pigmentation
- dislike the price

REVIEW: MAYBELLINE HYPERCOSMOS EYESHADOW

hola my apple crumble!
another eyeshadow rev?
oh yes! this item here.. deserve a spot on my blog :D

as you guys know i am not a big fan of eyeshadow so when i actually do a review it means either they are worth it, or not at all :)

and this one here.... we shall see!

so the packaging
- plastic cover which made it looks inexpensive
- simple and plain
- but it does give me an ease to choose the color in my vanity corner
- durable but not super strong so gotta be careful with it.

price was around SGD 18
bit pricey if you compare with the packaging :P

the swatch... without further ado, lets jump into conclusion.

my conclusion:
love love love it! look at the color that is only with one swipe, look how pigmented they are! i regret not buying more :(
i love the golden color! it is so gorgeous!
the texture is silky and velvety, easy to blend and apply, no scent that made me sick haha, volume kinda alot for this packaging :)

down side?
yes just the appearance wise :(

will i repurchase?
yes yes a thousand times yes! :D

REVIEW: NYX BLACK LABEL LIPSTICK

"Another NYX products? is this girl mad?"

does this questions go through your mind? if it does thats okay, i am mad over NYX :P well i am a lip products lover so ranging from lipbalm, lipstick through lipglosses, i love them all!

This Nyx black label lipstick.. are probably the "highest" standard of lipstick in NYX lipstick range that i have ever tried.. the price was around IDR 125K i think.. it is double the price from the round lipstick but of course.. these has better look and quality...

You can tell from the packaging it is more mature and lady like compare to the round label or the matte ones, i love the black lace upon the dark grey lid. and it is similar as other NYX lipstick products, they show the color of the lipstick at the bottom which i found it very helpful in choosing my colors.

here are the names and the look of the lipstick

and here are the swatches

these products arent matte so they have a slight moisturizer formula in it which i love! they also have a good color pigmentation but all of their lipstick products have good color pigmentation, with one swipe or glide the color is visible on your lips, you can tell the difference between this and the round label in the formula, i feel this one is more moisturizing and last longer compare to the round label. It is easy to apply and blend into the lips :D and again as for the lasting strength, i tend to wipe my lipstick quick haha i dont know why so apologize with that i cant tell you :(

so will i repurchase?
yes but.. i do owned quite a few so.. i wont be buying it anytime soon :*

REVIEW: INEZ LIPSTICK #14 (PINK BLOSSOM)

Lipstick I love you ;D
welcome back my lovely!

Today's review on the menu: Inez Lipstick
*does that even make sense?*

The price:
RP 30.000

The packaging:
For some weird reason, the packaging reminds me of the high-end  brand type of packaging, i know that the other packaging for this brand doesnt appeal to me but this one, i have that something for it :P
I think because of the shape and the color combination places. The outer paper packaging has informations and i thought it is quite complete :) As for the product, just like any other normal lipstick, pull the cap out and twist the gold body to be able to use it.

The swatch:
I didnt press hard on my hand and the colors came out :)
as i added the next to layer, the color is just beautiful. The texture itself is semi matte (at least thats what i think) because, it is somewhat hard to apply but when i rub my lips together once applied, it has this slightly creamy texture and i can tell it has some moisturizers too! and for that it has a good blending ability :D
As for the color pigmentation it is actually medium because i have to apply two layers to get the color out but i have no problemo in that!

and the best thing about this is, it has no strong scent! but if i smelled it closely it has a slight strong scent that i cant describe :( it isnt powdery or floral or sweet.

How it looks on me:
This is done with 2 layers of appliance :)

Conclusion:
- love the color
- love the pigmentation
- love the shape of the packaging
- love the price
- love the texture
- love that the scent isn't that obvious!
- dislike the matte texture

REVIEW: MAKEOVER LIQUID MATT FOUNDATION & TWO WAY CAKE

After many days, weeks and months pass and me thinking and deciding whether or not to purchase these two products below, finally! i went out and bought it haha

hellow my rainbow cupcakes!
I know i mention to you that this is one of my favorite local brand! but i dont own the liquid foundation and the compact powder. I actually was very curious in their quality,
so i got them! finally :D

The price for the liquid packaging was RP 120.000, the powder was around RP 140.000

Here is the packaging, for a local brand, i must say that these look very high end :) i love the black base color against the white & grey. I love the simplicity of the design.
It is also practical, the powder is easy to open, the liquid foundation is easy to pump and the pump allow me to control the amount of volume :)

Although the downside on the liquid foundation is i wish there is a cap for it so it is not "naked" to the dirt and dust :P *not that i need the cap but it would be better* as for the compact powder, i dont see any downside :)

I got mine in number 02 :) anything with a pink undertone is my color

i love how practical the compact powder is, it separates the puff and the powder :)
talk about some cleanliness and this product nailed it! or maybe if you dont use the puff at all and prefer to replace the puff with something else, you can! see so practical :D

here is the swatch of the liquid foundation, after i tried it out on my face, i feel the liquid foundation: has no scent, you just need a little bit because it can cover the whole face, medium-high coverage, good pigmentation and it gives a soft, silky, smooth matte finish like a porcelain doll * i mean it! *

the downside is: it is rather hard to blend but just be patience to blend it well :)

the swatch of the powder next to the liquid foundation's swatch, i love how the powder itself has also a good coverage onto the skin leaving the skin more smooth and silky.

As you all know how oily my skin can get, lets see the staying power on my skin

my skin vs makeover :P

so here it is, i was getting ready for a wedding at 5 :)
i love how these two products resulted on my face :)
smooth, silky and my skin looks so clean!

i know i usually took photos every 2 hours but i couldn't because i was busy eating :P *blush*
but here it is at 9.30 :)

around 4 hours differences and here it is..

slightly oily on the nose :) and my skin only gets dewy looking skin at this time.

conclusion:
+ The staying power is quite good for me :)
my skin gets slightly oily on the nose and looks dewy in 4 hours which is good!
+ It has no scent which i love :)
+ medium-high coverage
+ good pigmentation
+ leaves skin smooth and silky :)
+ easy and practical packaging
+ quite exclusive for a local brand
+ as for the price, i personally think it is quite reasonable especially with the result i am getting

- the liquid foundation should have a cap on it
- rather hard to blend

i love these products! with these two products i can get a super perfect skin on my face ;D knowing i have huge pores and scars :( i will certainly repurchase!
