SPECIAL EFFECT MAKEUP TUTORIAL: ALICE MADNESS / ASYLUM CHILD INSPIRED BY MADEYEWLOOK

Hello everyone :*

It is Saturday! what are you all doing tonight?
I am not doing anything special so I thought I will work more on my blog.
Any suggestion on a makeup review or looks or tips?

Let me know, it will be so much helpful hheehe

Oh! and I hope to see a lot of you tomorrow at the Cosmekita event :*

Alrighty then,
I just have to do this look!
I got the inspiration from
MADEYEWLOOK (youtube)

Well, you all can probably tell i am obsessed with face painting / special effect makeup.

Without further ado,
Let's start!

THIS MAKEUP IS DONE BY FACE PAINTING ONLY

1. Applied foundation and settled the face with powder.
Enhance the apples of the cheeks but adding some shading underneath it and add a soft pink blush on top of the apples of the cheeks. Dont forget to apply a soft pink lipstick.
Then outline the "meat" where you want it to be.

2. Fill in the area with red face paint.

3. Add some shadow by using a black face paint.

4. Give a little bit of high light with white face paint and applied some strokes to give a "stapler" effect, around the ripped skin.

5. Add some shadows on the "stapler" so make it more alive.
Then with a brown face paint,
create a rounded line and blend it so it looks like the skin is being stretch.

TA-DA

It is very simple actually all you need is patience.

Enjoy the final look.
PLEASE excuse my skin, you know pms-ing :P

TIPS & RECOMMENDATION: TOP 5 PICKS FOR COMPACT POWDER *BUDGET STYLE*

Whats up you guys :*
Welcome back to my blog.

Today, i have a short post of recommendations.

I have an oily skin. I would say, oily- super oily.
Therefore, when it comes to base makeup, I prefer to find the ones that are mattifying and long lasting on my skin, although it is hard to find that perfect product, I have to blot my face once a while to keep it matte.

Compact Powders are one product that I HAVE to have in my bag.
When I search for a compact powder, these are the first few important things that I am looking for:

1. Mattifying
2. Control Oils
3. Good coverage

Right now, I have a few products of compact powders that I do recommend and the best thing, they are  affordable *for me at least* and who doesnt love a good reasonable price with a good quality product?

Remember!
These work well on me and might not work on you. So aside from my blog, do a deep research on each of the products.

LETS BEGIN!

1. The current favorite and the product that I used all the time.
PAC Compact Two Way Cake Powder.
I keep this in my handbag everyday for touching up.
For a complete review, kindly click here

2. Another favorite product of mine.
Makeover Two Way Cake Powder.
Review click here

3. This is an oldie but a goodie.
Silkygirl two way cake oil control foundation.
A quick review, the quality is similar to other foundation and what I love about this is
the coverage and the oil control it has.
It is staying true to what it claims on the packaging.

4. Now this is a love hate relationship.
I love this due to the coverage that is superb but it doesnt stay that long.
If you have a normal skin, this might be best for you.

Now, what I love about this is, it matches with my skin perfectly.
So here is a secret that I have, whenever I apply makeup especially eye makeup,
I used this to soften the edges. Not only it blends in well and soften the edge but it is working as a highlight too! Hen the "pan hitting condition" of this product shows how much I have been using this.

5. Last but not least, this is a super old favorite of mine and I dont have it anymore because I need to finish the rest before purchasing a new one!
Maybelline Clear Smooth All in One Shine Free foundation

That was a long name :P

I LOVEEEEEEEE THIS PRODUCT!
Price is affordable! Good oil control!
Long lasting and GOOD COVERAGE!

The pink packaging is an extra point for me.

Alright!
I hope these help you in choosing a foundation or perhaps not to choose a foundation based on your skin condition.

SPECIAL EFFECT MAKEUP TUTORIAL: SCAB AND MAGGOT

Hello all :*
Today, I want to show you on my own personal take to create a:
maggot coming out from a scab
makeup tutorial.

This is inspired by:
Klairedelysart

So, I apologize that I forgot to capture the very first step haha but all i did was:
Mix a mixture of water and flour, and take tiny pieces and stick it onto the skin.
This will be your scab.

Once they are stick, I used an extra help of using lashes glue, you know, just in case!

Next step is to take a red face paint,
with a tiny fluffy brush, apply and paint it surrounding the scab.

What I am doing next is I am adding a touch of brown color just to make it more gross looking and,
with something sharp, i am making a hole in the middle of the scab.

Then, next, I am taking a flat brush, and with the same red paint, I created a tiny vein like stroke coming out from the scab.

Then create or take a dark purple paint and paint it over the scab including the hole we created just now.

Lastly, add the maggot, this you have a lot of choices, you can take rice, or some playdoh.

Ta-da the final look!
