A new innovative products for Suncare series are released by Dewi Sri Spa. Dewi Sri Spa is one of the famous brand under Martha Tilaar that provides the traditional Indonesian therapies and treatment using only our natural ingredients. These products are aiming towards the body care, such as, body scrub, lotion, bath salts and many more.
The name Dewi Sri is inspired from an old folklore where a goddess named Dewi Sri, gave fertility and prosperity to the plantation. She was a timeless beauty that was radiated through her beautiful skin. She did rituals and traditional bathing. Therefore, Dewi Sri Spa is born, providing a range of high quality traditional Balinese & Javanese body treatments that are made from rice extracts and pure essentials oil.
As you may know, Indonesia is rich with tropical forest that provides a lot of natural resources such as rice extracts, rose essential oil, jasmine essentials oil, spirulina extract, green tea, cucumber extract, and many more.
There are a lot of people still questioning the quality of it but let me assure you, they are amazing! I myself is one of the big lover of Dewi Sri Spa, i just dont talk much about it. These products are carefully formulated and blended by a team of expertise in Jakarta, Indonesia.

This year, i was invited to their event of new product launching. My very first Dewi Sri Spa event and of course i knew i had to go because i used their products a lot. Dewi Sri Spa is released a suncare series. We are living in a two seasons countries and mostly, the sun is shining brightly almost everyday. Sun rays can be damaging to the skin and this is where Surya Majapahit Series are innovated and released. A complete sun care products from Sun Protection Lotion, Cooling Shower Gel and Soothing Body Gel. These products contain essential oil of Javanese Lotus, Licorice and White Rice.
We all know how important it is to protect our skin and we had a few experienced speaker using this range and all of them love it! With the before and after suncare, this product is giving you a triple care, triple strong sun protection.

Alrighty, after a brief introduction to the new range, i have tried them all! I do go swimming and when i go, it is not in the morning or evening but it is at noon, mid-noon, when the sun is shining so bright. So, i thought "yas! it is the perfect timing to try them out"
So here are the product close up, we have: Cooling Shower Gel, Sun Protection Lotion and Soothing Body Gel. Overall, i love their packaging design. The cover is blue and yellow, perfect for summer. The product packaging are very easy to use and they are practical without making a mess or spilling out the products.
This is a sunscreen *just incase if you are wondering* and apply this before your daily activity and after shower. This product comes in a tube that is sealed which is really good in order to protect the product from spilling out and to keep the hygiene. To use this product simple removed the sealer, open the cap and squeeze the product out. This product contains spf 40 to protect the skin from the sun that can caused sunburn, pigmentation and pre aging system. With the rice extract and Lotus extract, this will protect your skin and give them more moisture.
The texture of this product is rather sticky at first when you applied it but it will get absorb into the skin. Just like any other sunscreen, it is a white lotion but it doesnt leave a white cast onto the skin.
I can feel that this product is very moisturizing onto my skin.
After a whole day out wearing the sunscreen, it is time to cool down the skin with a cooling shower gel. How many of you ever had sunburn before? I had them pretty a lot back then in high school because i love going to the beach. Sunburn is not fun!
One way to calm the sunburnt skin is to apply something cooling and minty. This cooling shower gel contains an effective menthol to cool the skin down. It is one way to take care of you skin after being exposed to the sun. So how to use this product? Once you are out being exposed to the sun and dust, take a good long shower with Surya Majapahit After Sun Cooling Shower Gel.
This product comes in a transparent liquid soap which i really like. I prefer soap that has no coloring or a milky thick color texture, i prefer then to be transparent. Not only this is a clear gel-ish liquid, this is very lightweight and easy to apply, blend and rub all over the body and of course to wash away. You know sometimes soap has this slimy residue? this doesnt!
This also has a subtle calming floral-ish scent that i really love!
Now, once you are done with showering, it is time to complete the whole process by applying the Soothing Body Gel. Instead of applying body lotion, apply this gel. This gel reminds me of aloe vera especially their characteristic to cool down after sun. This product comes in a clear lightweight gel that is absorb into the skin very quickly. I dont recall any offensive scent so scent-wise it is very subtle and comforting.
I also feel a slight cooling sensation when I used this product. However, the texture compare to the other two products, this one right here is pretty liquid-y which makes this product easy to absorb. I suggest to applied it section by section so it doesnt dried up.
