When it comes to the best products for dry chapped lips, i am the master. I have tried a lot of lip balm, butter, gloss, you named it! Nivea Lip Butter is one of the best for the dry and chapped lips. Containing natural almond oil and shea butter that heals the skin, soften the skin and calm the skin for a long period of time.
Just like skin care normally, our lips need some protection too! I have been facing and having dry chapped lips and probably having me to peel the skin off is not helping either. I still have dry and chapped lips until today. As I mentioned above, i have tried a lot of lip products that claimed to heal the dry skin but so far none that is long lasting. Result that i hate is the sticky feeling afterwards. Result that I love is the smooth-ness texture and relaxed skin after use. So those two are the main thing I look for right now everytime i used lip product.
Who hasnt heard of Nivea? The most well known product for skin and body care. Now they have came up with product for our lips. I have seen this range ages ago back in Singapore and finally they made their way to Indonesia. Due to the extreme weather in Indonesia from hot to cold and the UV rays will caused the drying of the skin especially on the lips.
As you can see from the picture below, this range comes in four flavor, Raspberry Rose, Cocoa, Vanilla and Macadamia and Original. This range contain Shea Butter and Natural Almond Oil as the main ingredients for healing.
The flavors remind me of ice cream, yogurt anything sweet. I am a sweet tooth! I realized that just like any other Nivea products, this range has a healing power. Not only this range moisturized but also calm the skin of the lips. To use this product, simply use your ring finger, apply it onto the lips. Vitamin E is really important for the skin hence this product contains it as the main ingredients from Natural Almond Oil. If you have sensitive skin, no worries! this product works well for you too!
If you are wondering, does this product has any color? nope they are all transparent (as you can see i tried to swatch it below but nothing showed up) and the texture of this product is thick and moisturizing. You can feel it protect the skin and it feels really comfortable on my skin even the scent too!
I must admit though, as much as I love the product, the packaging is rather difficult for me to open. Especially once after you use it and things get a tiny bit oily around the product, it is kinda hard to lift the tin. However this product is very lightweight and easy to carry. This product is now available at the supermarket for only RP 30.000.
If you are looking for a good lip product for your dry lips, go for this one. Affordable price with an amazing quality! I think it is cheaper if you can get it in the super market not online, i thought i saw one being sold at IDR 50.000, then cut down to IDR 47.000 but still buying them at the super market (like hypermart) or modern pharmacy is still cheaper.
