TEETH SCALING AND WHITENING EXPERIENCE AT THE CLINIC TANJUR DUREN JAKARTA

Hello loves! If the enlarge scary picture of my ugly messy teeth horrified you, i am so sorry! I recently tried teeth whitening, a once in a lifetime opportunity. I actually have heard so much about teeth whitening but i have never had the chance to try it. I tried the teeth whitening at The Clinic Tanjung Duren. This beauty clinic has another branch at Cipete but i decided to go to the one in Tanjung Duren as it is closer. 

I realized my teeth are ugly, hence i barely show my teeth when i smile. I barely go to the dentist because i just dont really like it. I mean i am not scared but i just feel that, it is tiring to go to the dentist. They usually asked me to do braces *yes i know* but i never really want to do it because i am horrified of pain. I cant stand pain but i probably can if any of a good dentist or orthodontist want to sponsor me invisaligne? :P 

Anyway back to the post, not only i have messy teeth, but i do have stains due to the teas and coffees i drink almost everyday! i love tea so much! The Clinic Tanjung Duren is located along the side of KFC, passed Pasar Kopro on the right side. It is small and cosy. What I love about this clinic is, not only it serves beauty and aesthetic solutions but dental too which i barely can find, no wait, i never find a beauty clinic that has dental solution in it. So i am pretty amazed! They also served some beauty surgery and i am really aiming for dimple surgery *i dont know the proper term but it is a surgery to create dimple*.

 

I am not scared of the dentist or any teeth fixation, i am just scared of the pain and the discomfort afterwards but doing teeth whitening should be alright. I did some scaling as you can see i have a lot of stains so it is a must to get a maximum result. Then the process of teeth whitening began, i had to place this plastic tool to expose my teeth so that the solution for the whitening wont hit any side of the inner mouth. The process roughly took 45 minutes to an hour. The steps are pretty simple, whitening solution then lighting the laser light and voila! An amazing result that can stop me from smiling!

However, i wont lie that there were a few times i feel a slight tingly pain (ngilu) and i did tell you cant stand pain even the slightest bit so this was the main discomfort for me. I kind of expect that will happen anyway as i do have a set of sensitive teeth too. Everyone will experience the discomfort differently, some is able to stand the pain and some dont a.k.a me! Some will feel the tingly pain for the next 2 days a.k.a me but some dont. So it is really depending on your teeth. 

I am very pleased and happy with the result! It has been ages since my teeth were this white!

As for discomfort, it lasted for 2 days (including the day i did the teeth whitening and the next day) and by the third day, it was 90% fine. I realized also that i have slight increase in gum sensitivity which is normal based on my research but again, not everyone will go through the same thing. 

If you are considering a teeth whitening, i really do recommend The Clinic. You can get your teeth done and also some beauty treatments. I mean why not get it done once at one go? I see a huge dramatic difference in my teeth ahha even my mom and sister said so and now they are nagging me to take care of my teeth but man it is hard not to drink tea or coffee!

Remember to only eat a white diet, means, any food that has white color for the first 2 or 3 days and stay away as much as you can from staining food or beverage like tea and coffee.
