Hello my sugar loves! A few weeks ago, i was invited by Privia U from Beauty In You Store and the event was about sharing and discussing on their Privia U product range, from all of the products, I was VERY attracted to this BB Compact. I think it is very unique! A BB cream in a compact form that finished matte? Oh yes!
I am sure you are all beauty lovers are familiar with the whole BB, CC and perhaps DD cream? Let me summarize their function in a paragraph. These creams are majorly functioning as a makeup base, foundation and skincare. 3 in 1 functions in one product i must say. It also acts as a concealer and skin corrector where it will gives a brighter and clearer skin once applied onto the skin. The skincare level in BB Cream tend to be more simple-r although it still moisturized the skin but BB cream is leaning towards a makeup base therefore it comes in a variety of colors. Whilst, CC cream has a higher level of skincare and less color choices with a lighter texture compare to BB cream. Which one is my faves? I gotta say i prefer BB Cream more due to its higher coverage compare to CC cream.
So, now, why is this particular product attracted me the most?
Privia U Miracle BB Compact is different from other bb cream that comes in a tube. This comes in a compact form, which i personally think it makes life so much easier! of course it does come with a mirror and a sponge. I realized the texture at first is slightly creamy yet thick but once you applied it onto the skin, it leaves a powdery texture. It is a foundation + powder in one go!
The pigmentation is medium to high, so you can layer this up if you want a more coverage. However, I realized that you need to apply this quickly onto your skin because it gets dry and powdery pretty quickly. I also realized applying with a sponge is rather wasteful as it gets absorb into the sponge so the best way for me to use this product is by using my finger and blend it all over the skin. Blending ability is easier with finger, medium difficulty with brush and difficult with sponge.
I wear this by itself, which means no foundation underneath it. I realized that it doesnt stay as long as I wish it would on my oily skin. I think this will be amazing if combined with a foundation underneath to give a longer staying power and a full coverage on the skin. I would go for primer but i am a type of person who barely wear primer unless i really need to! However if you are born with a gorgeous normal skin, i think this product will be amazing for you! I think this product might work on dry skin though but i cannot justify that as my skin type is different.
Conclusion, I still love this product because of its shape which make it practical to be carried around with me especially travelling, i like the coverage it has and the texture that is very soft. I think i am going to combine this with a foundation and see how it goes :)
