Hello World! Today's beauty menu is Make Up For Ever (MUFE) Aqua XL Eye Pencil Waterproof Eyeliner and it is a collaboration with Charli XCX as their spokesperson. A range of 20 new colors with a waterproof and ultra long lasting credibility to create look from polished to punk. Featuring eyeliners in five different finishes- matte, diamond, satin, iridescent and metallic and they were tested in various condition.
If you are wondering why XL? is it the size? I thought it is going to be the size of the pencil but nope, it stands for Extra Long characteristic like XL Performance (a unique combination of ingredients from vegetable wax for consistency color payoff, a revolutionary dry oil that locks color and make it water proof, a flexible resin for long lasting result), XL Color (for unique, translucent, crystal copolymer gel to help to amplify the color intensity and brightness) and XL Comfort ( the emollient oil and microspherical silica provides an easy creamy and smooth application where mango butter helps to prevent skin dryness on application through the day).
The first thing that i realized when i was testing them at the event, well more like on Suhay's hand because she has all the colors on her, i try to actually smudge and rubbed them on her hand but it wont budge. Literally not moving, no smudge and no fall out!
The texture is also another plus point that i recognize from this range is very smooth. It glides back and forth super easily without any streaks. It has a great color consistency where it spread evenly on the area. The color is also another plus point from me, it is very opaque and bold. However, since i got these two colors in black and white which i am assuming they are not pastels, the pastel colors tend to have a softer texture but those pastel colors are so cute!
Then curiosity hits me *as always*, i decided to try using water, wet wipes and makeup remover. I have tried using my finger to remove it but it didnt work, so lets see by using other media. The picture below is the before and after the test. As you can see a makeup remover removes pretty easily, which is a good thing. Next, the wet wipes, if you look closely, you can see one straight red mark and that is when i use my nails because it was pretty hard to remove. Next to the wet wipes test area, I actually tried to remove it with water but failed, i literally put it under a running water and rub it but it wont move!
In conclusion, MUFE Aqua XL Eye Pencil Waterproof Eyeliner is really waterproof and smudgeproof. They have a great smooth and soft texture where it glides easily and with their great color pigmentation, it gives a great consistency while applying it. The colors spread equally at one stroke and the best thing is they are Ultra long lasting! They have 20 shades for you to choose from but i stick to my black and white :)
