So
lets talk about the Studio Makeup Smooth Finish Wet Dry Foundation.
This I would say, personally, is a compact powder. A powder that has
foundation in it that gives a high coverage complexion on the skin yet
natural. The final result is Velvety Matte if used dry and high coverage
result if used wet for a flawless look. This products comes with a
sponge where you can use it dry or wet. If you do want to use it wet,
spray some water or face mist or makeup spray to get the desired
result.
Studio Makeup Sculpting and Highlighting Palette comes in a 2 shades of contouring powder and a 2-in-1 powder highlighter. I am sure you all know that contouring is to hide and sculpt the face to give more structure while highlighting is to enhance the highest point on the face that reflects like. It is like giving an instant face lift without any operation. The kit contains Photo-luminescent and photo-chromic to give a natural, glowing and soft results.
After using this, i could say that my favorite product is the Wet Dry Foundation. This product has a very high coverage onto my problematic skin. I personally would use this as a powder but I did try using it wet. When using a wet sponge, I really dislike the effect it has on a powder where it will leaves marks and dried on the spot but nothing like that happen in here. As soon as the wet sponge touches the powder, it turned it into a semi creamy foundation yet once the foundation touched the skin and blend, it leaves a flawless look. Then I just dust the same powder (dry) after wards with a brush to make it less cakey. Pigmentation is amazing, it blends easily and it last pretty long on my oily skin.
When it comes to the contouring kit, I have to say that the pigmentation is great but for my skin tone, i cant really see a great difference. I think the color needs to be darker a tiny bit. It blends easily with a natural finish. If you love a natural finish, you can get this but for me, i need something a little bit more stronger. Highlighter in this kit is also amazing yet it doesnt really show onto my skin that well. I had to use my finger to apply it and i am not a fan of using finger when it comes to makeup. The shades of the contouring are leaning towards warm brown but the highlighter comes in a shimmer gold and pink.
Overall, i am very happy with the Wet Dry Foundation that gives a high coverage result without looking to thick or cakey. While the Sculpting kit could do a little bit more by adding more color pigments to make it visible however, it still does give a natural finish.
