My new favorite from the remover category, Nivea Double Effect Eye Makeup Remover, it claims that it effectively removes waterproof makeup without any rubbing needed, doesnt leave any makeup residue and no greasy feeling. It protects the eye lashes.
I actually have tried this product even before I got them from Sociolla and Beauty Journal. This is my current favorite makeup remover. As you know, I do bridal makeup and bridal makeup is known for its coverage, longevity and waterproof characteristic. This product is able to break down every single particle of the makeup easily (video below) but first, let me just tell you how smooth the product packaging is and to use it, shake well before hand, pour it onto a cotton pad and press lightly onto the skin and remove it gently. This is suitable for contact lenses wearer and this product contains cornflower extract.
With the two phase formula, oil and water, it gives an extra strength in removing the makeup. The oil helps to removes waterproof makeup and the water os to help to protect the eye lashes. It is fragrance free and it does dissolve every trace of makeup gently.
So out of curiosity, I decided to do a full bridal makeup. It took only 1 wipe to remove most of the products. What amaze me was how it can remove the lash glue without having me to rub or put pressure so much onto it. It is just easily remove the waterproof makeup and lash glue residue. It also protects my eye, which means, it doesnt sting or burn my eyes!
I also realized that just a tiny bit will do its job well ad the size of this product is just pocket friendly. Perfect for sensitive skin and contact lenses wearer.
In conclusion, I really recommend Nivea Double Effect Eye Makeup Remover for everyone, yes including you with sensitive skin and contact lenses wearer. It is gentle and doesn't sting or burn the eyes, it breaks down the waterproof makeup and remove them easily without any pressure. It is not greasy at all.
