Welcome back again me *pat on the back* and of course, to start with the proper blog, I am going to review Maybelline The Loaded Bolds. Yeap! As a lipstick lover, i think it is very right to start with a lipstick review from Maybelline. As you may know that Maybelline has a whole variety of range of lipstick that we know as Color Sensational. Today, 12 new bold colors are up on the market!
I think it is a smart way from Maybelline to keep its authenticity and originality of its Color Sensational characteristic by not replacing it with new packaging but to change the color of the packaging! Simple yet powerful. How to differentiate the Loaded Bolds collection? It is simple, find the ones with the navy colored packaging. It is slightly transparent yet lightweight with a sturdy material. There is an extra plastic wrapped around it with the ingredients, details of manufacturer and expiry date and of course the name of the range. For the color code or name, just look at the bottom of the lipstick. It is also coded with the same color as the lipstick.
Now, when it comes to the Color Sensational range, i am not a stranger. Yes I bought a lot of lipstick from the Color Sensational in different category such as matte, nude, vivid and many more. I love the quality it has but will I love the recent Loaded Bolds Collection? Lets see!
When I applied it onto my lips, the first thing i realized is its thick buttery soft texture that glides very easily on the lips. Second, I realized the color pigmentation that is HIGH at one glide. I would say this lipstick has a moisturizing characteristic ever so lightly therefore it didnt crack or dried on the lips. It is long lasting but of course, depending on what you eat though but you know what? that is not even a problem for me because I can always retouch it with a different color :)
Now, if you have a bold and brave personality, you will love this collection! All vivid and bold colors! I am a person that loves my natural color however, I do love one of their color. In fact it is my go to RED LIPSTICK color. It is the number 10 smoking red! With a cool undertone, it will enhance my teeth to look whiter!

In conclusion, I love the number 10 Smoking Red because of its color but, Maybelline The Loaded Bolds once again have awed me with its amazing characteristic of soft buttery thick texture, moisturizing, high pigmentation (not medium but HIGH) and of course I love how it feels and sits on my lips nicely without drying it out.
