REVIEW- COASTAL SCENT COMO QUAD COLOR CORRECTOR

did you know that ...

i have been looking, searching and wanting to get a green concealer? 

and one day i was looking at blibli.com until i realized they sell beauty items from overseas.

long story short, i found this coastal scent * i hope they are authentic, this is the reason why i hate buying online when it comes to cosmetics* so i purchased them seeing they have 4 different colors and that is exactly what i have been looking for, when it comes to price, it is higher of course, i purchase this around RP125.000 ish? exclude delivery fee

so this is the packaging, simple, nothing interesting 

the texture of this concealer is thick and good pigmentation. it glides on well and blend well when apply onto the spots but i dont like the smell, the smell is like a crayon smell. i hate crayon scent.

so here is a little experiment:

here is my chin *where the spots and acne are always having their gathering*

i am taking my green concealer to apply onto my chin

blend blend blend and add more if necessary.

The results:

redness is gone but you can see my pimples :( 

conclusion:

- i am so-so with this product but it will do for the moment, i dont like the scent, the price is kinda pricey.

- i do like how it comes with another 3 different colors so it is handy :)

- it covers 90% of the redness but i am sure if i apply my bb cream, everything wont be super visible :) 

will i repurchased?

- nope because not saying this item is bad but it is just.. not there in my heart :P i believe i can find another better concealer :)

how many of you heard about THE FAMOUS NAKED PALETTE 1 & 2 ? 

i am sure you have :)

i have been wanting to get them but apparently the price isnt friendly to me :P i have my budget so, i decided, since naked palette are all neutrals and i am a type of person who loves to buy eyeshadows in all neutral colors! trust me, you will only find max 5 eyeshadows in different colors than neutrals haha

so why not, running through my eyeshadow again and search to find the closest color to the Naked Palette ?

my own opinion:

BOBBI BROWN PALETTE

- personally i love their pigmentation, for some people the pigmentation might be not good enough but to me it is enough, this is my fave palette in my eyeshadow container and i barely use it :P *i have this tendency of not using items that are my fave* i love the packaging, simple and classy because nothing can go wrong with black and white :) 

REVLON WET/DRY EYESHADOW

- these two items are my faves too! i always have them in my bag and my eyeshadow container * yes i do have two of these ahaha crazy me* although the pigmentation isnt that great but you can always layer it up and stop until you feel satisfy and that is how i prefer when it comes to make up actually :P i dont want to look like a clown. btw with this eyeshadow, i heard that if you wet your sponge, the color will come out more bold but i never try it though.. if you guys have tried it, leave it down in the comment! :D

REVLON 12 HOUR EYESHADOW

- this is a palette that i never try haha but i do love the color and the pigmentation. i personally think the palette itself works as a naked palette too :) 

REVLON COLORSTAY 16 HOURS EYESHADOW

- you wont regret buying this items ! it is proven to me that the pigmentation is good! thick color and very velvety! it stays on your eyes for long hours and it glides on perfectly! and the neutral colors.

what more can i say? :D good product here

so i dont actually know who my readers are.. are you guys.. teens? 20s?30s? i dont know but i still love you! so i remember back in the days when i was a teenager. oh yes! i am no longer in that 13-19 tick box but i am in that 20-29 tick box haha so i remember my skin was oily and pimply and i wish i knew what i was doing on skin care and make up.

alright so lets start with SKIN CARE

why clean & clear?

first! i heard this product from Blair Fowler a.k.a Juicystar007 where she mentioned that this particular range product is really good for oily skin. So i think that kinda bought my interest and i went out to buy them straight away! 

The Facial Wash, i love the smell. i think it has this citrus-y kinda smell and because of that, it feels so fresh on your skin. You can totally feel: clean & fresh

The Toner, this is the second toner that works on my skin, Mind you that my skin reacts to all toners i have tried until i found the Mustika Ratu cucumber toner and this :) it feels fresh on your skin and it has this cool feeling.

The Moisturizer, i think this moisturizer isnt sticky and it dries very fast on your skin. IF YOU HAVE A DRY SKIN, please think and reconsidered this items before purchasing :) because i have an oily skin so this items work wonder on my skin. The smell is soft and gentle. Somehow the smell is more to a teenager smell though.

PRICES? with these three items, small bottle, are RP 30.000 if your round it up.

MAKEUP

- TONY MOLY & MAYBELLINE  BB cream:  

here i have chosen two brands because, these two items are both different ( country, price )

so i want to give a few choices but not to wide hehe for you to pick. Honestly, the coverage these two items has are almost the same on me but the prices is different. TONY MOLY is RP 99.000 & MAYBELLINE is RP 39.000 *roughly*

so if you are the type of person that believe in Korean brand, go for TONY MOLY but if you are the type of person that is fine with anything, you can try Maybelline because it is lower in price than TONY MOLY and if BB Cream works well, you can buy TONY MOLY HEHE just an advice though :)

The reason why i choose bb cream is because, it has spf & moisturizer which are important when you are in your teen year because you need to take care of your skin as young as possible :)

- PIGEON & SARIAYU LOOSE POWDER:

a powder is a must for every teenagers but choosing powder is very important. Here i have two choices and the reason behind this is very simple, i always think pigeon as a baby powder therefore the formula in it is subtle and gentle for teenagers's skin :) while Sariayu are made mostly from natural ingredients which is safe and helpful towards the skin :) 

Owning a loose powder is to help to mattify your skin so if you are sweating or oily, you can just patted the powder onto your face and loose powder isnt as heavy as compact powder. Choosing a powder is important, choose the one that is closest to your skin tone!

PRICE: Pigeon was around RP 20.000 while SARIAYU RP 10.000

-MAYBELLINE TINTED & BABY LIPS LIPBALM:

moisturized your lips is one of the important step as a teenager. Keep your lips looking shiny and soft like a baby's butt :3 heheh I have a chapped and dry lips and that is because i didnt take care of my skin and lips back then haha :( i shouldn't be laughing actually

If you school is alright with you wearing any slight color onto your lips, i suggest Maybelline tinted lipbalm but if it isnt alright with makeup then a Maybelline baby lips is fine :) keep those lips hydrated baby!

when it comes to color and choosing them, for teenagers i always think pinkish- tinted red colors are suitable :) because we want that young & fresh look!

PRICE: they are around RP 20.000-30.000 roughly

so these items that i will mention isnt that important to use as a teenager because i always think being a teenager you should go for less makeup but if you still want to use more dont worry :) i have some ideas for you!

so you want to wear some blush? no worries! again, choose a pink tone color for blush or peachy pink :) these two colors will work well onto your skin but if you have a darker color like tanned or ebony a darker color will be better like red e.g. REVLON BLUSH ON IN ON THE TOWN RED is one of the choices.

As for the eyeshadow, a neutral color tone will enhance those young and fresh look for you! like pink, champagne, soft pastelly peach or maybe some brown colors :) 

price? blush was around RP 40.000 while the eyeshadow was around RP 45.000

last but not least, for those of you have some oily skin, dont forget some oil blotting papers :) and this one is from Ovalle RP 6.000!

so these are all the items that i recommend because of the quality & price as i know being a teenager we have some limited budget but then again, i hope these work on your skin as well as they work on mine!

REVIEW- YSL PARISIENNE PERFUME

ok so another thing you need to know about me, i am not a big fan of perfume either haha

 i only have like 3 perfumes at home but this is my favorite perfume like i literally smell this in a magazine and i searched through the mall until i found it at the airport when i was traveling!

so this is the legendary YSL PARISIENNE PERFUME

this is like the small bottle i forgot the volume though... 

the packaging

- i think it is cute because of the shape and the color combination is somehow giving me this vibe of girly, playful and rich 

i love the gold cap with the gold writing in the middle against the black material as the brand on the perfume bottle. as for its body i love it how it is somehow similar to a diamond with angles and dimension. Of course it is in the color of transparent soft pinkish-purple

so when it comes to the scent it reminds me of lychee (the fruit) i dont know why, but i love lychee because of its sweet taste and probably because of this scent, it creates a girly vibe. It is also has a mixture of floral scent but i am sorry that i cant differentiation which flower it comes from as i dont have a huge knowledge of flowers :P but yes Lychee + Flowers giving that sweet, playful, gentle and romantic atmosphere. i actually imaging myself walking on the street in Paris *although i never set my foot there but one day i will*

so if you are going out to the mall and get a glimpse of this perfume, stop and go and spray it to yourself! if you are the type of person who is girly and romantic , you will love this perfume *i hope*

REVIEW- TOP FAVE RED TONE NAIL POLISH

here is a fact that you guys didnt know about me!

i am not a big fan of nail polish so i dont have like 10 containers filled with them :P but i do have my faves for certain color tone and i am gonna start with this one!

a red color tone

my choices are: REVLON (Vixen & Raisin Rage) ESSIE (Really Red)

so these nail polish are the ones that i go back to all the time! i always think and found red color is sexy, classy and bold of course, it suits everyone :)  

Here are some close up look at the color :)

Essie nail polish is very easy to apply, the solution doesnt get sticky easily but you do need two coats to give that perfect shiny finishing :) It is also long lasting, i have had this nail polish since a few years ago but it seems like i just bought it yesterday :) *thumbs up to you ESSIE*

so all of you know i am a big fan of REVLON and i have two colors of nail polish from them :)

i usually go for a neutral and soft color tone but there are times when i do wanna go for something darker. I always go for these two colors whenever i feel like applying a dark color onto my nails. I always find dark red is mysterious. 

The thing with REVLON nail polish is not all of them is easy to apply, some you will find it very easy and with only one coat, it covers well like Raisin Rage but some of the products, you need two coats to make it look finish like Vixen. When i first apply vixen, it doesnt really apply neatly and it is rather opaque therefore i need to apply the second layer to get the final finish look :)

Overall, no matter how they are made with a few imperfections, i still love them to death!

DAILY ESSENTIALS IN A MAKEUP POUCH

For every girl, majority of us love to carry a handbag, big, medium or small and inside that handbag we will have at least one beauty items thats a must for us. 

I am a girl who brings a huge handbag haha and inside my bag i have to have my wallet, phone, keys , usb *in case if you are wondering why, i am a graphic designer so my usb is half of my life*, my medicine pouch *yes i do get sick easily* and my makeup pouch.

back then ages ago i used to love bringing unnecessary items like i would bring 3 lipstick, 2 eyeshadow, 2 blush etc2 and that made my bag so heavy and the worst thing is, i barely use them haha and i dont want to be shorter than i already am :) so i decided to take my makeup pouch out and reorganized it!

i started to think on my daily needs like when i go out what do i use the most?

so here inside my pouch i have:

- my blotting paper

- my powder

- chapstick

- lipstick 

-lipgloss

- blush on

- eyeshadow

- eyebrow pencil

- hair serum

- body mist

- nail file

-nail clipper

- hair tie and clip

- a small jar of lotion

sounds alot eh? but trust me it wont be when you know how to pack them.

always buy them in a small packaging or buy a small container and pour them into it :)

i need my blotting paper + powder + chapstick + eyebrow pencil everyday! as i have a very oily skin, bald eyebrow and dry lips :( 

as for the blush on i pick the cream blush from max factor because of the colour and the size that is petite enough to be fit into my makeup pouch :) 

i choose a neutral eyeshadow that can be used for contouring and highlight too

and lipstick, i pick a colour that will work well both day and night and as for the lipgloss is just there when i want my lips to be glossy and pinky :)

i got this plastic case that i used for my make up pouch from this store called STROBERI for only rp 6500 if i am not wrong :)

then i have my hair clip and hair tie which is a must for me. You guys probably wonder why i have a nail file and nail clipper haha thats because i have rough edges around my nails and that bother me alot! as for the nail file i also cant stand the chip looking and feeling of my nails, i prefer to have my nail smooth shaped. 

my hair serum is there incase i forgot to put them on my scalp, body mist + a small jar of lotion is just to make myself smell fresh incase if i want to meet people in a sudden

so i hope this helps for you who wants to lighten the weight of your handbag :D

REVIEW: SLEEK TRUE COLOUR LIPSTICK

howdy!

i am back with another review baby!

i just got these new babies from a friend of mine, she came back for a short holiday from the UK and of course, i asked her to buy me some stuff :P 

ok enough chatting, so here is the packaging, it is kinda small from my expectation but it doesnt matter :) i like the packaging it is very colorful for the budget i have.

here is some snapshots of the products themselves, i love the lipstick packaging or jar or bottle, i seriously dont know what to call this but im going to call it the lipstick jar :D

i love loveee the design! very sleek just like the name 

i love everything simple and elegantly classy. i think the jar reflects and have succeeded in showing the meaning of the brand :)

i got myself in three colors, they are different in my own opinion: candycane, amped and peached & cream. i personally think the colors are gorgeous! it stands out.

As for the scent, i actually can smell a slight tiny plasticy scent if i put it close onto my nose but, it doesnt bother me :) so i am fine with this.

the swatches: bear in mind that this is with one swipe. color pigmentation is super, i bought them in sheen and matte and both of them are giving what they are named for :) the sheen one are: candycane and peaches&cream, they are both very easy to apply hence the moisturizer they have for the lips, while the matte one, it is matte but giving out bold strong colors.

will i repurchase them?

yes i will! infact if they even open here i would love to buy them and collect most of the color :D

what do i like about them?

- their color pigmentation!

does it have a down side?

- for me, it would be just the size that is smaller than i expected but it is all good :)
