REVIEW- REVLON PHOTOREADY CORRECTING PRIMER

so.... ;) howdy!

i have used this products for so many times but i forgot to do a review on it haha well not all the time though just those times when and where i think it is important to keep my skin matte!

DISCLAIMER
- i am not being sponsored
- bought this with my own money
- works on me but i dont know whether it will work on you
- please do a research before purchasing :)

lets talk about the packaging. this is the bottle, simple and... rather boring but never mind about that :P

one thing i love about this packaging is the pump! i hate it when a product has a pump that is useless, and when i say useless it means.. pouring too much product that i wont use and that will be a waste. This product right here has a tiny pump that allows only little amount of primer to come out, i mean you can always build them up right? instead of them going to waste :)

i love the color of the primer, it is soft super pastel purple :P i am a sucker for anything pastel :D
i dont think it has any scent but if it does then i have a smell sensory problem but i am the type of person who isnt that sensitive? and i tend to ignore loads of things that i think is useless haha but yes so for me it has no scent and if it does the scent doesnt bother me.

i love the texture of this primer! i have 2 face primer and i prefer this one, it is somehow liquid-y when you pump it out and when you apply it onto your face, it settles and make your skin looks matte :) it has a soft gentle texture like a cotton so when you apply it, it blends so nicely and equally :)

how do i apply this primer?
simple! of course i cleanse my skin and apply moisturizer. After that one is done, i place small dots to the area that tend to get oily and in my case it is my whole face *sigh
i forgot to take a pic of my face before dotting this primer haha but from this picture below, you can see how oily my skin is and uneven :( big pores i know *does anyone know how to make pores smaller? leave them in the comment below*

after the primer: matte + smooth *can you imagine how my skin will look like if i apply a bb cream? HEAVEN*

SO... i thought... i just inserted few pics of me getting ready * i am going to watch Resident Evil *
since it is just a casual day, i go for a lightweight foundation.

and to test and to show you all the process and the results of this primer.. i will take pics every 1 hour :)

so this is taken at 3pm before i went out, love the finish look!

another hour passed by, slightly oily

then at 5 pm... more oily and make up tend to look cakey

6 pm Greasy greasy.. gosh i am controlling my urge to get my blotting paper but i didnt because i want to show you guys the result :P * anything for my lovely reader*

then i went to have dinner n watched a movie where lighting wasnt that good so i couldnt take any picture for a whole good 4 hours and when i got back home.. tada!

OIL EVERYWHERE HAHA and by this time, i really felt i wanted to scratch my face because i think it is so dirty and i just need to clean my face...

so will i purchase this items again?
- nope :( but the thing is.. i have a weird and super oily skin, and for some people, this is one of the best primer but sadly it doesnt work on me :) so please to whoever wanted to purchase this, do a deep research or if you can, tried it out from a friend or family who owned this primer :)  but the good thing it didnt cause any acne breakout though... :)

righty then girls!
til next time

REVIEW- SARI AYU MAKEUP PRODUCT RANGE

who knew i would fall in love with Sariayu makeup product range easily? :P
alright, alright.. i did judge them at first thinking.. the quality sucks and the pigmentation wont be good but I WAS WRONG AND I AM NOT ASHAMED TO SAY IT OUT LOUD :D

alright so i think, we gotta love our local products right?
i am the type of person, i dont look at brands, as long as they are good and achieved my expectation then i will love them :)

Sariayu is one of them :) although there are more brands under Martha Tilaar but this particular brand that i think: low cost + good quality :)
what more can you ask for?

DISCLAIMER
- i am not being sponsored
- bought this with my own money
- works on me but i dont know whether it will work on you
- please do a research before purchasing :)

let's start!

The foundation

This is the foundation, i know it seems very dark for my skintone but trust me, when you apply it onto your face, it blends in well and if it is slightly too dark, you can always apply a lighter color of powder :) it is lightweight and the scent was okay, didnt bother me :)
the packaging: small and handy but rather difficult to push the product out
they only have two colors choices which is the down side :( and most of the color they have are suitable for people with tanned or tan with yellow undertone skin :(
i believe this is only RP 8000 (round it up)

The powder

again, when i saw this color, well when i was choose the colors, they only have 3 colors but the sales lady told me to get this one so i did, with the price i think i have nothing to lose * i forgot the price* so i purchase this, tried it out, the scent is nice but i am not a big fan of this kinda scent, very velvety so it has a good pigmentation and the best part, it blends well with my skin, not too dark and not too light :)
the packaging: not my fave although it has this lock so that it wont get messy but it still is messy when you open the transparent lid :(

The eyeshadow

i have a few more of their eyeshadows but i will show only one :P
i hate the packaging too plain haha but ignore the packaging i am all about quality :)
GOOD PIGMENTATION
the texture of this eyeshadow and the others are very velvety and thick, it blends well and of course, super pigmented :) the colors are there!
price.. again cant remember.. sorry :(

The blush on

this is the only blush on that i owned, i planned to buy another one but i gotta wait and see :P
the price i believe is somewhere around RP 40.000 ish
again, i love the pigmentation and the texture, it blends well and doesnt cause any difficulties for me :)
i hate how small it is though.. for the price they should make it bigger i think.

The shimmering powder

i have this for ages, never used it, and i have no idea how to use it? ahaha i have a feeling that this is a highlight for your face :P or bronzer? i dont know but i will try and do a review on it :)
but again, this price is around RP 50.000 ish which is not bad looking at the pigmentation! look the at picture! look how thick and shiny it is! ok this is not a bronzer at all :P that swatch i did with only one swipe :) again the texture is soft thick and easy to blend

The mascara & eyeliner

trust me! this is a product you need to buy if you are in a tight budget! the price was around RP50.000 ish and... it contains both :) who doesnt love a good deal?
i have only tried this once but i will let you know how it is.. basically..
eyeliner doesnt really stay and the mascara was okay.. doesnt do anything on me but if you have an originally long eyelash then.. this shouldnt be a problem :)

The eyebrow pencil

i love their eyebrow pencil and the price was around RP 11000 only :) maybe i can find something else cheaper but this is cheap enough for me regarding their quality.
the texture is thick and velvety, soft and it glides on well and blend well.
with this pencil i believe you can use it both ways, to shape and create eyebrow if you have very thin and scarce eyebrow but if you have thick one, you can blend this into your eyebrow :)

The lipstick

here i have three example: normal lipstick, duo lipgloss and lipgloss&lipstick *yes this is how i call them*
with these three items, they have similarities which are good color pigmentation, moisturizes, and easy to apply :)
the prices: are around......... RP 50 000 ish * yes i realised i am not good with prices :( *
i always think the duo lipgloss or lipstick are a good deal and they give you the great combination :)
for the lipgloss, there are two colors where one is bold and bright while the other one is to toned it down, if you are brave enough to wear the bold one, then do so but if not, you can mix it :)
as for the lipstick-lipgloss combination the same principle applies, but you got two different products with this.. *thumbs up*

my own conclusion:
- i love their prices, color pigmentation, texture that are soft and velvety or thick
- i dont really like the scent although it doesnt bother me that much
- the colors choice isnt wide and most of them are more towards the tanned with yellow undertone skin color :D

will i repurchase it?
- of course! yes! i will! price + quality thats all it matters :)

TIPS: MUSESWONDERLAND'S TOP PICKS FOR RAINY SEASON (OILY SKIN)

welcome rain!

we are entering into the months of rainy season and probably monsoon.. and each time seasons changed, our skin will have to adjust to the season.
i personally have a super extreme oily skin where i have to prepare oil blotting paper & powder in  my bag everyday.

so as this season colors the days, i feel that my skin especially on my face is slightly different from the summer season, i feel it is more oily and sticky. We all know that rainy season can cause high level of humidity especially in here, where it rains then sun and rain again ... that cause a damp humid atmosphere that will have effect onto your skin.

so i have my own personal picks for this season and weather that can control my skin :)

1. BB CREAM
i will only use bb cream when my moisturizer doesnt have any spf for this season because i feel that my face will get oily super easily so i stay away from heavy texture skincare or makeup. A bb cream is good because we still need a spf to protect our skin since the sun does come out at noon so it is a must to protect our face :)

2. CLEANSING MILK
personally, i think it is super important to cleanse your face and especially when it is rainy season, our skin either: gets very oily or very dry so people with oily skin especially like mine, cleansing our face is important to get rid of all the excess oil. Cleansing milk will help to lift up oil and dirt on our face :) do this max three times a day.

3. REVLON COLOR STAY
in choosing a foundation, it is best if you choose a foundation that is light weight in volume and texture, oil free formula and long lasting :) one of my favorite foundation is Revlon Color stay because it has all of these three function i mention and with a humid area, it will helps to make the oil to produce longer :)

4. ROSEBUD SALVE LIPBALM
this is one of my fave lipbalm and i choose this because it has a good moisturizer and a slight color tint in it :) when rainy season arrived, it gives out a cool weather and most probably wind that might cause your lips to dry and especially with my lips that is always dry, it will became more dry-er which is not good!

5. OLAY NATURAL WHITE MOISTURIZER SPF 24
in choosing moisturizer, for people with oily skin, you need a moisturizer that is oil free and lightweight but why olay natural white with spf? doesnt the spf will cause the skin more oily? well not this moisturizer, i hesitated to buy but now i am in love with this! it is super moisturizing, light weight and as soon as it is applied onto my face, it dries and settles very quickly leaving the skin matte :D
whats better? it has spf24 that we need even for rainy season!

6. OXY 10
this is an acne cream that consists of Benzoyl Peroxide 10%. WHY?
i realized that my skin will get more pimple-y when it comes to humid area and it will get worse... so i always keep this ready if there is any break out :)

7. MAYBELLINE CLEAR SMOOTH POWDER
i always try to keep my skin as matte as possible and powder with a silky or velvety texture is always good because i believe it can absorb oil even if it isnt much so a little help given is always a good thing for me especially for my skin:)

8. SARIAYU WHITENING MASK
scrubbing and masking is very important when it is humid season, i feel that dirt and oil is more on my face that made me wanted to clean my face up! so by scrubbing once a week and apply some mask, it will get rid of all the dirt and oil and of course, freshen up the skin!

9. MUSTIKA RATU TONER
a good way to keep your skin fresh after cleansing it is to apply a toner and i am loving this toner since other toner reacts badly onto my skin but this doesnt! i feel fresh after applying this!

10. CLEAN & CLEAR OIL CONTROL FILM
you guys probably have seen this in a few of my posts that is because i cant live without this item! since my skin will get super oily and to keep my skin matte is to use blotting papers.

so thats all for today's post!
enjoy!
