Hello you lovelies! Let me begin with a lipstick review. I did not want to do this but i know i have to do it! It is the new collection from LT Pro Cosmetics. We are all know that LT Pro is one of the local brand of makeup in Indonesia. It is the high - end brand of La Tulipe. I used to "judge" them thinking they aren't great but i was wrong. There i admit it! i love our Indonesian products. I feel that they are not receiving the coverage and exposure in here. I found this range of the new comer in the lipstick category and ya know, i have to have them!
I am not sure how many bloggers have tried, tested and reviewed this range but well here i am going to write one based on my experience wearing them. I saw them when i was in Pasar Baru, walking around and i think i was supposed to buy something else but i ended up buying more stuff that i wasnt planning and needed. I think this happened all the time when you go to Pasar Baru. What's worse is i live close by Pasar Baru :P
Alrighty, so yes saw the products and decided to buy some. I didnt buy all of the colors, some are bought by my mom but i just stole her just to show you the colors. The price in Pasar Baru is IDR 70.000 and the price in Matahari Dept Store is IDR 100.000. I am not sure if the price is different at different Matahari location but the price was the price i found out at Matahari CL JKT.
The first thing i realized was the packaging! It has a classy and expensive packaging for a local brand which is an extra bonus in my eyes. I dont think there is any local brand that has a great packaging design? i cant think of one, if you know one local brand that has a great expensive and high-end looking product, let me know! When i saw the packaging and tested the packaging, it reminds me of Shiseido lipstick. They are similar in terms of shape and usage. Just different colors. The packaging is pretty sturdy and it feels like it is made from a metal-ish material. Overall, love the packaging! Look at how gorgeous it is when the light hits them.
The logo is placed on top of the packaging, and the shade and information is placed at the bottom. So, it is all about the minimalist and sleek cut and design of the lipstick. It looks high-end and expensive and i love it! it is not that hard to open and in fact, it glides easily when you open the product.
Alright so enough about the packaging and once you guys are done drooling over the pictures of the product, are you interested to buy? but confused which color to buy? Dont worry come and scroll down to see the swatches!
First thing i realized is the high pigmentation. The pictures below are taken with a 2 swipes of the lipstick. 1 swipe is enough for daily wear but you can always layer it up to give a more bolder look. I also realized this product is moisturizing. When I read the name of being glossy, i kind of thought it would be sheer but nope, it is opaque and super pigmented!
Second, i realized the scent, it is pretty strong and i am not a big fan of it. It smells like a powdery sweet scent but if you are not sensitive with scents, then this should not be a problem.
Then I love how easy the products glides onto my lips! it blends easily too! I also realized the whole range tends to be on the orangey-brown side rather than a pink-ish ones, and i prefer to buy a more pink-ier shades of lipsticks.
I personally think this is an upgrade of their previous lipstick. They are innovative with the packaging and the quality. If you want me to do a comparison between the previous "click-y" lipstick and this one, this one is more moisturizing but they still have the high pigmentation which resulted in a visible color. As for the packaging, it is much better than the previous one. I also love the previous packaging due to its clicking style but this one here is better.

Overall, i love the whole package. LT Pro has finally increase the image of their new products that show quality + aesthetic. I feel like i am owning a high-end and expensive brand. With the price, the moisturizing characteristic without losing their color pigmentation are the big thumbs up from me. Sadly i dislike the scent.
