Hey love! i am back after taking a week off from blogging. I cant stay away from blogging that long! I have a lot of products I would love to share and today, it is an eyeshadow palette from Benefit Cosmetics. I know that everyone loves a good neutral colors and it is even better and practical for everyone to own them in one palette.
Benefit Cosmetics has succeeded with their packaging for this neutral palette. It is in a small-medium size, so it is not that big and it wont take much space in your bag. Again, I love their style of design that is more to a colorful, cheerful and vintage-ish! In this palette, it comes with 2 cream eyeshadow and 4 powder eyeshadows. Unfortunately, it doesnt come with the brush or any applicator. Inside the palette, it has the instruction on how to get a certain look which is very helpful if you are a beginner! Of course, it has a mirror.
The colors that are inside this palette are complete to create the perfect eye look. The two cream creaseless shadows are in the shade of Birthday Suit and My two cents. I have tried this and yes it doesnt crease on my oily eyelids. These two cream shadows can be used by its own or as a base before applying the shadow.
The quality is amazing for a cream shadow, it is pigmented, it is easy to apply and blend easily. Once it is set onto the eyelids, it wont budge. You can build the colors up and they are perfect for daily wear.
Then the 4 long-wear eyeshadows comes with a highlighter (Call my buff), lids (it's complicated and gilt-y pleasure) and outer corner (Kiss me, im tipsy) and here if you have a monolids, stay tuned to see the technique on how to apply these shadows on your eyes ;)
What I realized when I applied this and onto my clients, the shadows are pigmented, velvety and arent powdery. Once I pat my brush in it, dab it and applied it onto the eyes, it sits nicely straight-away which makes it easy to blend too. When combined with the cream shadows and an eyeshadow primer, it stays on your eyes for a good long hours.
Here are the swatches below and as you can see, the colors are amazing! They are pigmented therefore the shades are visible even when they are in their neutral tones.

So overall, I personally think this is a good palette for beginner, as the shadows are very easy to control and doesnt have a lot of fall out. This palette is also amazing if you want to keep it in your bag because of the complete eyeshadow from cream to powder. There are a lot of eye look that you can create with this palette so, it is really worth every penny you spend!
