Hey ladies and gents! What I have right here is a soothing aloe vera gel for face and body from The Saem. Aloe Vera has the characteristic of soothing and healing. Not only it is good for body, it is good for hair too but in this post, this gel is made specially for face and body as a moisturizer. It is paraben free, no artificial color, no mineral oil, no raw animal material, no formaldehyde, no benophenone and no PG.
I got sunburn very easily and the first aid kit to heal a sunburn is aloe vera gel. I am so glad that I received this from The Saem Indonesia. This also acts as a moisturizer but i shall talk about that later on in this post and now, lets see the packaging. At first, i thought the packaging would be messy but nope i was wrong!
This gel comes in a round green packaging. It contains 99% of aloe vera gel from Jeju island. What I love about this product is, it has the barrier from the lid and the gel. The barrier is a transparent rounded plastic that pressed down the gel and securing them not to spill all over.
As you can see from the picture above, the gel is clear. No artificial color. When you open it, i can smell a great scent of freshness. It contains perfume though so do consider if you are sensitive to fragrance in a product. The product is light weight and as soon as it touched the skin, it melts.
It is very easy to blend and apply onto the skin as it absorbs quickly. I realized once it is absorbed into the skin, there is no greasy texture and it is pretty much matte but subtle (like a bouncy feeling). You only need a pea size for the whole face but for body you might need more.
According to my research, aloe vera can heal redness and pimples. I have not tried this because i am on a dermatologist subscription but feel free to try ;) and if you have a dry skin, this product also work to balance out the texture on the dry skin.
With the matte yet subtle result after applying, i have a good feeling this product can be a good base before makeup. I love how cooling and soothing this product onto the skin. As for body used, i have used this for my sunburn.
I personally think having an aloe vera gel at home is important as this can be a first aid kit but also good for skincare and body care. Not only it moisturizes, it heals the skin imperfection too! It is also acts as a good base before makeup for sensitive skin. For dry skin, you might need to apply another layer of your own moisturizer.
If you want a longer lashes, apply this onto the lash or if you want a good night facial mask to soothe the stressful skin, go for this gel! See there are a lot of usage for aloe vera gel and that is why i personally think owning one is a must!
