Hello my sweet munchkins! I am back with a affordable local beauty product that is of course is a must have for me inside my makeup case. It is the Make Over Camouflage Cream Face Concealer which is a concealer and color correctors inside one small palette. The price is around RP 105.000 (or more i forgot).
This palette right here is a life saver! It contains the basic colors for concealer for the Indonesian women and it also contains the basic color correctors. Why do I love this product? Aside from the price that is super low cost, this product has a high coverage and quality that are competing with the high end brands. I really love how this palette is aiming for correcting the imperfections on the skin therefore with one small palette, it wont take so much space inside my makeup case.
As you can see from the packaging and the products, it is very practical and within this palette, it comes with 5 different colors and they are:
1. Light Beige
2. Beige
3. Light Green
4. Light Purple
5. Brownish Orange
It comes with a mirror and a brush but somehow, i lost the brush *typical me*. At the back of the packaging, it has the explanation upon the ingredients and the usage for each color which i will explain down below.
Now, if you are a beginner and i am sure you are probably confused with the colors especially the colorful ones. So within this palette, it has two different categories *although these two aim to fix the skin imperfection* and they are: concealer and color correctors.
What are the differences between a concealer and color correctors?
Concealers are used to hide an "easy" imperfections. Basically it is one quick way to hide the flaws on the skin and this type of flaws is the "light" ones where it will be hidden with just a concealer. Color correctors are aiming to fix a rather difficult flaws such as redness, dark circle and dull-ness.
The concealers come in two different shades but believe it or not, it suits to everyone skin tone! All you need to do is to mix these two colors together to get the desired color for the skin. The concealer can be used as highlight and shading but only to certain skin color while the color correctors are to be used by themselves to fix the problematic area, such as:
Green - to hide redness and usually this we can find around the nose, the red swollen acne that is not healed yet, or anything red on the skin.
Purple- now i am not familiar with this correctors but i know purple is to hide the dullness so i am assuming that if you have dark spots, you can use this? I am open to any comments explaining about the usage of purple correctors :)
Orange- this is for dark circle!
Here is a tiny tips, if you are going to use a color corrector, make sure you blend it well first then apply concealer on top of it to even out the color tone on the skin.
The quality of this product is amazing! The texture is creamy, which it lets me to blend it easily on the skin. When i blend the concealer, i actually used my ring finger because it is easier to blend and faster. The coverage is amazingly high and the color pigmentation is also high! There are several arguments about this product on its blending ability but you must know that different tools will give different effect and different process hence that is why i love using my ring finger to apply a concealer.
