Hello my strawberry pie! I have been obsessing with Marc Jacob Eyeshadow and today, I am going to do a review on the Marc Jacobs Beauty The Tease (202) Style Eye-Con No. 7 Plush Shadow Palette. I own this color and the color "Lolita" but today, we are going to review The Tease just because it sounds sexy *hahaha*
This palette comes in a sleek slim long black case. The material is pretty heavy which gives that expensive and fancy feeling. It comes with a mirror and seven colors of eyeshadow. However, it doesnt come with a brush which is fine by me. To open this, simply click on the silver button on the side of the packaging. I personally think it is very easy to open it.
Moving onto the colors! eeek! This palette has a puple theme with different types of eyeshadows. It is a mixture of matte, metallics and frosty. I must say that not all colors are pigmented. Some are slightly powdery and there is one particular color (darkest with glitter) on the far right corner that doesnt come out as how i would like it to be. By far, I really like the first color (the first color from the left), it is probably the color that has a high pigmentation with an amazing texture that is easy to blend and less fall out. The rest are somehow powdery yet with a medium coverage which means, the colors are still visible but when they are blended, fall out is expected.
Truthfully, this palette is still amazing to me. If you really like product that is not over powerful in terms of color pigmentation, go for this one as this one has that natural finish on the eyes. I am alright with the colors quality although i expect the last color on the far right to have the highest color pigmentation with a good soft velvety texture but nope it isnt, as you can see from the picture above, the color near my thumb (far right on the swatch or the bottom color on the swatch) is the darkest color in the palette.
Other than that, if you wear an eyeshadow base or primer, you should have not face a lot of problems.
