I am very excited to try new products *hence that is why i blog* and i found LT Pro Eye Shadow Primer in one of the department store for RP 95.000 (i forgot the exact price but it was around there). LT Pro Eye Shadow Primer stated that it works as a base, to make it last longer and to intensify the eyeshadow color.
LT Pro is one of Indonesia Makeup Brand. Yes it is local and i am proud. LT Pro is one of my favorite local brand in the cosmetic industry because I realized they are always up to the makeup "game" and always to be the first one that launched new product following the makeup trend. I always try to look for a good eyeshadow base from our local brand and today! i am going to do a review on this eyeshadow primer.
As you can see from the packaging, it stated that, this primer will give a long lasting effect of the shadow and will intensify the color of the shadow. So we shall see the longevity and the intensity later. I have to admit that, for the price it is slightly expensive compare to the size and the weight. This primer is very light when you hold it and the size is pretty small. It is in a black color for the body and a silver cap. Simple though.
Now, lets do the quality of the primer. The shade as you can see is pretty nude like a skin tone shade and the texture reminds me of Benefit Porefessional. A lightweight, wax-y with a powdery finish texture but this one has a more "liquid-ish" feeling. It blends in well on my eyes and I dont need a lot of product for one eyelid which is great. It does feels light weight but I dont like the scent. It has this floral - oldish scent i must say but that doesnt bother me because the scent evaporates in a few seconds.
As you can see from the picture below, the one with the primer has a slight more vibrant color while the other side without the primer has a more subtle color. I apply only 2 layers of color on the eye with the primer where as on the eye without the primer, i applied quite a few layers in order to make it similar to the other side.
I also realized the process of applying the shadow and blending the shadow upon the primer is very easy where it has no clump and it makes the texture on the eyelid smoother and it is resulting in a more even spread out colors on the eyes. SO, COLOR INTENSIFY YES! But does it last long? IT DOES! If I compare with the price, the quality and the result, i am impressed! It makes the eyeshadow sits long on my oily eyelids for almost a good 5-6 hours!
