Ladies, who doesnt know Katy Perry? The unique and quirky singer now released her line of perfume and this is Mad Potion. A perfume with magical elixir sensation with its oriental musk scent.
This fragrance's main scent is vanilla and it is contained from all around the world with the duo amber and jasmine that adds the twist of mysterious and playful fun. The top fragrance are mainly from Tahitian Vanilla Orchid, Pink Peonies and Apply Musk. The heart of the fragrance is made from Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla, Creamy Musk and Jasmine Petals. The base of the fragrance contains Mexican Vanilla Bean Absolute, Magical Musk and Glowing Amber.
The design of this perfume is fun! It is inspired by the classic potion bottle, the frosted finish and the purple juice gives a glowing effect while the whimsical stripes on the bottle neck gives a touch of unexpected madness. The front of this bottle is an embossed effect that reminds me of a wax seal stamped on an old apothecary bottle. The round cap is infused with glitters to symbolized magical dust.
I personally love this perfume because it is purple, it is quirky and fun AND there is something magical about this perfume from the design, the color and the scent! It is light-hearted and playful which embraced Katy's fantastical side. The story behind this fragrance is where Katy plays a role of a magician and grabs all the madness and quirky ingredients around her and put it in a magic hat and hence, the perfume is born.
