Wardah Exclusive Matte Lip Cream is a matte liquid lipstick that comes in three different colors: red, pink and nude. This matte lip cream from Wardah Beauty has amazing quality that I did not expect it to be. Retail price is around RP 59.000 (depending again where you buy)
I am not sure if there are any bloggers who have written this product review or not but here i am writing from my own experience and personal opinion. I RECOMMEND this one! Truthfully, I didnt think this will be that good but i was wrong!
First, the packaging is sleek and chic, it reminds me of Colorpop Liquid Lipstick. A clear glass to show the true color and a silver lid to close tight the product. It is pretty normal in terms of packaging. There are only three colors though, i dont know why so i decided to buy all colors as we know, different color pigment have different quality. The shade is coded by numbers so: 01 (RED), 02 (FUCHSIA) 03 (NUDE), they also have their own shade's name but i dont remember and isnt it better to remember the number?
The tip of the wand or the applicator is in an angle and in oval shape that helps to shape and fill the product onto the lips. What i love about this is the scent is barely there! There are lip cream that are produced from our local brand but this is the first product that i actually feel very happy and comfortable with the scent. No strong and long lingering scent is detected.
Now, since the packaging is pretty simple and normal, I am very pleased and surprised with the quality! The first thing i realized that it is very lightweight! You wont feel cakey or thick on the lips. Then the color pigmentation that is amazing and spread out evenly. I also love the blending ability, it is not streaky and I only apply one layer for the whole lips area.
These product settled in very quickly! Most of the local brand takes time to settled but this one, settled within a few minutes, leaving a whole good high coverage matte complexion on the lips. It will be easily removed with oil based remover or if you eat anything oily.
In conclusion, Wardah Beauty Exclusive Matte Lip Cream is the first local brand lip cream that has a lightweight feeling, settled into the lips quickly *not sticky* and good pigmentation of color that spread on the lips evenly leaving no streaks behind and THE BEST THING IS NO STRONG LINGERING SCENT DETECTED!
If i have to compare all the three colors, I love red the most because it applied very easily, spread easily and the colors are even on the lips but the nude one was pretty hard for me to applied, not because it is bad but i think the color is not that visible for one layer, so i applied two which is not a biggie though.
Do I recommend this?
YES! buy all 3 because it will suit to your activities. I think every women should own lipstick in: red, pinks, nude, orange and brown tones.
