Hello my lovelies! i am back and this time a review on a moisturizer that works as a base (or primer) especially for oily skin. It is the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base that includes Shea Butter, Carrot extract and Vitamin A complex. My skin type is oily.
This product costs around RP 700.000-ish (round it up) and at that time, i was looking for a product that works as moisturizer and primer. After researching, i came across to Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base and i thought why not give this a try?
In terms of packaging, it is easy to use. It comes in a jar and twist the lid to use the product. The face base itself it is not the typical creamy moisturizer. It is slightly solid. It is non greasy and in fact i would describe it as: solid, rather sticky and you only need a tiny bit for the whole face. Regardless the texture before applying on the skin, once it is applied, it glides and settles into the skin smoothly and quickly leaving a very smooth skin texture. The scent however is not in my liking, some people said it is cirtus-y but for me it has a rather medical citrus-y scent.
When it comes to pores, i do have huge pores (as you can see from the picture below) and i do have redness and oily skin, but once i have applied it, it mattify the skin straightaway. However, this product is used as a moisturizer for me and if i want to have the perfect flawless skin, i need to add another primer.
It does help with the oil control. Usually without a base my skin would get oily within 3 hours but with this product, it lasts up to 5 hours. It holds onto my foundation very well where there is no sliding off of the foundation. The product comes in a white cream but just take a tiny bit and blend it all over the skin. It doesnt leave any white residue.
Overall, i love this product! it works a moisturizer and a primer. I do use this for my clients for their big day and it makes the makeup last long. I also love that this product need only a tiny bit for the whole face. This, i would say, a very versatile product as this work as a moisturizer and as a primer or both!
