Another liquid lipstick crazy from our local brand, Beauty Story Chiffon Lip Matte in Hello Pink, Taupe Chart and Vavavoom! Each cost around IDR 95.000 (depending where you buy this) and from the review, it said to be long lasting and smudge proof.
The craze for liquid lipstick has surely entered Indonesia, a lot of local brands of cosmetics are competing to release their own version of matte lip cream. I am going to review Beauty Story Chiffon Matte Lip Cream in Hello Pink (cool pink), Taupe Chart (warm nude) and Vavavoom (bright orange).
As you can see from their packaging, their designs are cute with a rose-gold cap and a matte transparent glass. To use this, simply twist the cap to open. In terms of weight and size, these are pretty handy and easy to carry everywhere.
Now, how about the quality? Truthfully, this is not as matte and long lasting as I hope it would. The pigmentation is amazing though. You only need to do one swipe and it spreads evenly, leaving no streaks. It is lightweight and you wont feel a thing on your lips. The scent was not that strong.
When it comes to longevity, i realized that this is not that strong (as i have tried various lip cream) and it actually disappear pretty easily. I have tried a brand that has liquid lipstick and actually feels lightweight and long lasting even after you eat. So for this one, it doesnt win the "longevity" category.
In conclusion, this range of lip cream from Beauty Story is good in terms of designs and quality BUT not as good as I have tried before (wont mention brand) It is lightweight on the lips, pigmentation is high for a local brand and it spreads evenly leaving no streaks. However, longevity is not that amazing because i have tried and owned lip cream from one of our local brand that last longer, color disappear better and actually some color still stays on the lips.
