CATRICE PRIME AND FINE SMOOTHING REFINER FOR INVISIBLE PORES AND LINES REVIEW AND SWATCH

Catrice Prime and Fine Smoothing Refiner for invisible pores and line cost around RP 80.000 in Guardian. This product is affordable and reasonable to buy but if you are a pro MUA, i would not recommend this as this product only make the appearance pores and fine likes LESS visible where I have tried and tested few primer out there that can do a better job. However, it helps with the foundation stay intact.

Hello you beauty lovers! Catrice cosmetic is finally here in Indonesia and today i will do a review on one of their primer. Catrice Prime and Fine Smoothing Refiner for invisible pores and lines. This cost around IDR 80.000 in Guardian. I personally think prices of this brand is very affordable!

Primer is not really my thing but since i do makeup a lot for my clients, I realized how important it is to apply primer to intensify the whole complexion. When i saw this product and of course the price that is so affordable, i didnt even think twice to get it. This product as i mention in my video, reminds me of the Loreal Paris Primer. The tube and the appearance is similar but i think this one is bigger compare to the Loreal one.

The packaging is simple, a jar with a black cap to close the good. Twist it to open and the product is inside. Unfortunately, there is no extra tool that comes with it to scoop the product out. I did use my finger which i think it is not hygienic.

Now lets moving onto the good part, the primer itself is in a pale pinky shade but it turns clear once applied onto the skin. It is silicone based which is why I really like it. It helps with the pores and fine lines. Now when i use this product, I realized you need only a tiny bit for the whole face. A good measurement is needed when to apply a face primer. If you applied it too much, it wont help in maintaining the foundation instead, it will become greasy and foundation will slides off. I took too much when i used this and that is a big no-no. Then i realized their strength in hiding and covering the fine lines and pores, is not that amazing. I would say it hides only 60% of it where i hope it will hide 90% of my imperfections. Does it help with the staying power? I cant say much because when I was using this product with my foundation, i did use a blotting paper once but the good thing, it makes the foundation stays intact in place. I wear this from 10.30am to 8.00pm but i dont really see anything special from this product.

In my opinion, if you are a beginner in makeup and would love to play around with primer, this product is affordable and reasonable to buy but if you are a pro MUA, i would not recommend this as this product only make the appearance pores and fine likes LESS visible where I have tried and tested few primer out there that can do a better job. However, with the price and the amount you need to apply onto your face will make this product worth the money and of course, it helps with the foundation stay intact. Will I repurchase that? nope.
