Hello my sweets! I am reviewing another cushion and it is the VOV Maxmini Cover Cushion in number 21 Light Skin. This is a new range of makeup from VOV and the VOV Maxmini Collection are the makeup base range. This range is perfect for tropical weather like Indonesia because it acts as a makeup base that soften the complexion with a maximum moisturizer on the skin. Aside from the cushion, they are completed with the primer and concealer to give a high coverage cover.
This range of VOV Maxmini Collection (Maxmini Glow Primer, Maxmini Tip Concealer, Maxmini Moisture Cushion, Maxmini Smooth Cover Cushion) works not only as a makeup base but it also gives a maximum moisture on the skin and to minimize the dull-ness on the skin, hence the name MAX-MIN-I *get it? :P* The result of this range is to brighten the skin with a result of an instant glow.
VOV Maxmini Cushion comes in two types: cover and moist. The one that i got is of course the cover version. Their formula is amazing to cover the skin flaws in detailed and easy to apply. They come in a number of different natural shades with a lightweight texture that wont leave a cakey result. The cushion itself is made from micro foam which means it is more dense and tight 4 times compare to the rest of the cushion.
You all may know that i am not keen when it comes to cushions. The main reason why i barely use them is because their coverage and their longevity. As we all know that Korean products are tend to aim for a natural - glowing looking skin. It is amazing but not when you have my skin condition (oily, big pored, acnes). With my skin condition it is pretty hard to use products that dont have a high coverage. I have not really meet a cushion that is up to my standard until i tried VOV Maxmini Cover Cushion. The first thing I realized is the coverage. It is medium to high coverage but for a Korean brand, i would say this product has a high coverage. I only need one layer to cover 90% most of the skin imperfections. Then, the puff that comes with it. I feel that the puff is more thick and dense so the application is very nice as it helps to spread the product easily and evenly. I believe that this product is actually build-able but since i pick the lightest shade, which is more white than my own skin, i decided to skip adding another layer in this post.
Most of you probably wondering why did i pick the lightest shade? Well, currently i am loving the Korean makeup trend and I realized that their base makeup tend to be "white" while in here the common base for the skin is "yellow". Using a brighter color underneath or before the foundation will give the effect of brightening. I will do that in a separate video because in this post, i just want to concentrate on its quality.
Aside from the high coverage, i also realized that the texture is lightweight! It covers the pores perfectly and it does leave a smooth and flawless complexion on the skin. This product is 15g at a price of IDR 325.000 / Refill IDR 185.000. With SPF 5-/PA++ and comes in 4 colors: 21 Light Skin, 23 Natural Skin, 33 Beige and 43 Dark Beige.

The pictures below are me using the products, keep in mind that this shade is the lightest shade and it is lighter that my skin tone. All pictures are un-edited so you can see the real effect.
Overall, I am loving the VOV Maxmini Cover Cushion due to its high coverage, maximum instant glow, light weight and longevity on the skin. It covers the pores well and it gives a smooth and flawless complexion. Dont forget! It is also moisturizing.
