Hello my cakepops! Are you looking for a local brand face primer? We are going to do a review on LT Pro Foundation Primer that cost around IDR 110.000-ish? The usage of a primer is usually to even our the skin texture, cover the pores and fine lines, to hold makeup to stay long and of course to give that flawless base before makeup. The size of this product compare to the price is pretty imbalance. It is small and travel friendly (so you can guess how small it is)
This is probably the first primer that ever released properly from Indonesian local brand. As you can see the packaging is simple. It is in a shape of a tube with strong plastic material, easy to squeeze and of course, all the name and details are on it. The size is 20g. It has an extra seal to protect and show that the product is still new. It is light weight so it is perfect for you to keep in your makeup case.
There is not much i can describe in their packaging aside that it is small, easy to carry and light weight. Of course, hygienic and easy to use. Now moving on to the quality. Truth be told, it doesnt really cover my pores. As you can see from the pictures below, my pores are still visible. It helps a tiny bit in even out my skin texture and tones (not that i have a lot of discoloration). The texture for a primer is actually slightly "watery" as compared to the other primers i have. It does have silicone in it so be careful.
As soon as you apply it onto your skin, it matifies and settles on the skin smoothly. It does help with the staying powder of my foundation though but doesnt help with the pores. As for the scent, i can barely remember actually but i dont think there is a pungent smell coming from it. The product itself is very easy to spread and blend due to its texture that is pretty light compare to the rest of the primer i have tried. You only need a pea size because i did apply too much and waste a lot.
Here are the picture below showing before and after appliance. As you can see the pores are still visible but it does help to make the foundation stay longer.
Overall, I am okay with this product. It doesnt really meet my expectation. It is pretty watery for a primer, it doesnt have the power to cover the pores however, it helps with the makeup to stay longer, it is easy to blend and spread, it finishes matte quickly and you only need a pea size for the whole face. Will i buy it again? Nope. There are more amazing primer out there but if you are in a budget, do give this product a try!
