The new long lasting, un-budge, strong eye primer is in town. I can say that this is my favorite eye primer because I have never tried eye primer that last super long on my oily eyelids. It is the Benefit Cosmetics Air Patrol BB Cream Eyelid Primer! It contains skincare (just like any bb cream) and of course the characteristic of a primer that protects, prevent and color correcting.

I was invited to try this innovative eye primer, i thought, it is probably just like any other primer. You will see why i am obsessed with this. This is my first blogpost in December and I will be making some changes in the year 2016 due to my schedule.

Now whats the history behind this product? A lady named Julie was inspired to make this product based on her daily basis which consists of contact lens wearer, work travel and other basic daily routine like makeup, work, pollution, etc. Our eyelids is one of the softest part of the body and it is probably the thinnest compare to the rest of the body.

What makes this product different from any other eye primer? This contains BB Cream. We all know that BB Cream has a lot of function such as protect the skin and prevent with its skin care ingredients, locks the eyeshadow in place, moisturize the eyelids and of course to even out the color tone. This also contains SPF20! I mean sunscreen for your eyelids? Yes please!

While other primer use wand or finger, this primer has a tip that is called "cushion calm tip" that is inspired from Gel Memory Foam technology that we find in mattress or pillow. It feels so soothing like your finger but this is more hygienic, because we are not using our finger! Another thing that makes this amazing is, to use this, just turn the click one time and if it comes out too much, twist the click anti-clockwise and it will go down! I dont think i ever meet any product that gives this practical technique ever. I am for one is the type of person who tends to have products come out a lot and have no idea how to put it back, which is a waste.

The product design and packaging, it is so colorful, vintage and fun! Just like any other Benefit Cosmetics products. I love Benefit Cosmetics mainly because of the vibe it gives. Colorful, vintage and fun! The product design is simple but practical and colorful. Not boring to look at. The cover or the product cap is in a shape of a wing. The combination of yellow and grey are the color combo i love. On the product itself, it has the explanation about this product.

To use this, as i mention above, simply turn the click at the bottom of the product clockwise. If you have not use it, you might want to keep on twisting until you see some products emerged and if you twist it too much and the primer spilled, just twist it backwards and it will disappear back to its bottle.

This primer has the shade of a skin tone (picture below) and it blends easily. I personally feel it blends in faster using my clean ring finger rather than using the cushion calm tip or perhaps it is just me not that patient enough. It comes out as liquid but when you blend in onto the eyes and once it sets, it is very matte! Scent-wise, nope i dont think i smell anything weird.

The difference in with and without is extreme. I actually had to layer up the eyeshadow MORE on the eyelid without the primer and I think i only add 2 layers on the one with the primer. Amazing right? This primer really intensify, enhance and push the colors of the eyeshadow a lot!

No no wait, what is even more amazing is, this primer, I think it is budge-proof! I swear i tried to rub it with my finger only to leave my skin red and irritated WITH the primer still on. This is what i need when it comes to Bridal makeup, a good long lasting eye primer that push out the colors a lot!

What is my conclusion?

The perfect primer for every bride! No, not brides only, for every women! If you have oily eyelids like me, you need this! I am not saying this just because I got this product from Benefit Cosmetics but i am saying this because after various of experiment until my skin is red and irritated from me rubbing the products away, this product last long, un-budge, intensify the colors, contains skincare for the eyelids and spf 20!

The price is IDR 470.000 in every Benefit Cosmetics Indonesia store. Might be pricey but worth every single money you spend. This is my go to eyelid primer now.
